We had a ceiling that needed to be retextured after a roof leak. Alan responded to my Angi post very quickly. I sent some pictures of the project, and he gave me a reasonable quote. Why we are happy: Communication was excellent and included his reminder text to us the day before his arrival. He arrived when he said he would arrive. When he arrived, he saw another part of the leak repair that he thought needed some work and he threw that in at no additional cost. He set up quickly, putting drop cloths from the front door to the repair spot. He worked efficiently and finished the project in a short amount of time. The section he worked on looks great! We highly recommend Ugly Walls!!

I’m in construction myself and I would strongly recommend Allen and Ugly Walls to any of my contacts in the field. Though his company name is “ugly walls” he left mine in top notch condition. Fast, Friendly and done right. Can’t say enough about this man coming to me so quick and doing such a great job. Received a call shortly after posting job. He was out the next morning and on time. Did a great job.

He came out and looked the job over and said he could do It. He returned a few days later and plastered over two large seams. In the process he attempted to secure some piping in the wall that went to the Shower. The next day I took a shower, It was still lose. The wall have to be re-done to secure pipe It will eventually work lose again. Left a mess behind furniture. Start to finish was 9 am to 3:15. I could send a video of the lose pipe

contractors unfortunately have a poor reputation to the point where your surprised when you get what you were promised, Ugly delivered.

We did a remodel on both of our bathrooms. One was a removal of an outside door and installing a glass block window. The other was removing a shower/bathtub and a small window. Installing a large glass block window and replacing sheetrock where needed. The contractor said he could not match the existing texture. Alan came by and gave us a reasonable bid and great timeframe. He completed the job and we are very happy with the finish. We have another project coming up and will definitely call Alan.

We renovate homes for a living and have dealt with countless contractors, and Allan at Ugly Walls was the best we've ever worked with. He came to bid the job and estimated he could start in 2 1/2 weeks, and he was dead on with his start date. Likewise, he gave us a cost estimate, and at the end of the job it was spot on. So refreshing to have someone stick to their timeline and bid! He went above and beyond and did beautiful work. Highly recommend and will definitely use again in the future!

The two-man crew was courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. They were in and out in a few hours and did good work, able to match our ceiling's texture in their repair.

It was necessary to have the contractor come fix some issues with the initial job. However, he did an excellent job on the second try. The contractor, Alan, said he stood by his work and was true to his word. I didn't have to hassle to get him out to deal with the issues I had with the initial job.
