Woodstock Lock & Key

I found the company on Angie's List and call in the morning. They were available that evening so I scheduled the appointment. The locksmith was able to meet me at my home that evening. He brought everything he needed. There was a flat fee for the service call and flat fee for each lock. The only surprise was that some doors had 2 locks. We were charged by the number of locks, not by the number of doors. The locksmith finished rekeying 9 locks in about 1.5-2 hours. He gave our new keys. I was able to pay with my credit card on the locksmith's iPad. The invoice was marked as paid and emailed to me immediately. It was fast, accurate, and convenient.

It went very well. They were prompt, professional, and courteous, and they worked quickly.

They understood the problem I was having and why, and were able to make a key for me that worked. They also said that if they weren't able to make a working key (this was a new door with an oddball lock) they would be able to come out and rekey the lock. They spent a lot of time for a small amount/small job to get things right, so on a bigger job they're the first place I would try.

After I was told by my contractor that I would have to completely replace the beautiful vintage hardware in my entry door because the key did not engage, I found Woodstock Key and scheduled a home visit the following day. Kristina came to my home and was such a wealth of information on keys and old lock sets, I felt I was in very good hands. She found the problem and fixed it within minutes! She also estimated that replacing what I had in the door with like-new hardware would have cost upwards of $800. I was so impressed with their service - I tell anyone that listens that they should go to them for any key/lock issue - especially those with old, well-loved doors! This place rocks!!!!

We brought in the old cylinder and they replaced it, including new keys. Jim explained very carefully how to install the new cylinder.

THEY ARE GOOD. I GO TO THEM ALL THE TIME. IT IS NEAR BY. THEY ARE KIND OF A NEIGHBORHOOD STORE. THE PRICE IS 60 DOLLARS AT THE DEALERSHIP FOR A SPARE CAR KEY, BUT THEY ONLY CHARGED ME 30.
