Wilderland Roof and Window Cleaning

Great communication, great work.

From start to finish, Wilderland did an excellent job. Peter, who answered the phone initially, was chipper and eager to help and provided a quote by email within an hour. I was happy with the price, so we set up a day for the services - just a few days later. His guys showed up on time, introduced themselves and briefed me on the order of everything. We did a walk-through and talked about skylights and other challenges. Their attitude the whole time was "how can we get this done for you" instead of finding excuses. I was so, so pleased with how thorough they were with the windows. We have difficult windows because the grids are on the exterior of the glass (so, lots of little panes). They made them shine! Gutters were straightforward - great job. They cleaned up really well before leaving. We will definitely hire them again!

The entire experience was excellent. Called for an appointment. We were asked for information about the number of windows, stories, etc. Based on the information we provided, we were given an estimate for the work. We agreed to the amount and were given an appointment date. It was a couple of weeks out which was not surprising given the time of the year. Zack showed up on time and introduced himself to our dogs so that they would not get excited when he entered the house. This worked very well. When he was done, all the windows, screens, and tracks were immaculate. We are very pleased.

I requested bids from several A rated window cleaning companies on Angie's list, and Wilderland was the first to respond. They also were able to accommodate my time frame request. The day prior to the service, they sent me an email to remind me they would be there between 9 and 11 the next day. Keith showed up at 10 am. He did a thorough job on windows and screens. They also called to follow up and be sure that we were satisfied with their work, which I was. Subsequently, I noticed as I sat down to write this review, that the exterior of one window had not been cleaned! However, everything else was fine.

The work went well. They showed up 30 minutes later than I was expecting but they then dove right in when they got here. It was a team of 2 (1 in training and an experienced hand). They set up a ladder, scoped out the work and where to place their safety lines (these are low angle roofs but they still were roped up for the entire job-I liked that), and got to work. For the moss removal they used wire brushes on a pole to scrape away the big hunks of moss then treated with sodium bicarbonate to kill what was left. They then used a leaf blower to clean up what came off the roof. Nice guys and I would be happy to use them again.

We are very pleased we chose Wilderland, recommend them, and would hire again. They were not the rock-bottom cheapest, but were very reasonable and competitive. Thank you!

We got more than one proposal and found Wilderland to be very competitive. Everything looked great when they finished. They had quoted one other small item which we decided not to do, but that was inadvertently added to the bill presented by the person doing the work. It was a small amount so I didn't notice before I wrote the check. Later I did notice it. As evidence of how honest this company is, when Joey, the owner, discovered the error the next day he called and then put a check in the mail for the over-payment. Integrity seems to be in short supply of late so it was refreshing to not only get good service but honesty as well. We highly recommend Wilderland.

Did an excellent job removing the moss and cleaning the gutters. Started and completed the job on time. Cleaned up after himself. Very reasonably priced given the size (3,000 sf) of the roof and the volumes of moss up there. Nice guy, very professional. Would absolutely hire again.

We are thoroughly impressed with wilderland roof and window cleaning. I called them to set up an appointment, they asked some questions about the house and had an entirely reasonable quote ready in about five minutes. Joey came to our home to provide the service. He was courteous and answered my questions about the work as well as addressing my safety concerns. He laddered up the roof and tied off using ropes and harnesses (a relief because we have a steep pitch and a high drop off the back of our home). The roof was cleaned of all moss and he ran water down the gutters after clearing them to ensure functionality. The windows look amazing and he was even able to ladder up to a high bathroom window which our previous cleaner couldn't reach. After the work was complete he informed us that the job was finished and let us know about the guarantees for each service. He had also patched a leaky gutter corner at no extra charge. The total for the service was exactly the same as was in the emailed quote. They processed a credit card over the phone a day later and emailed us a receipt of payment. Overall I could not be happier with this company. They provided us with excellent service and with a price that was entirely reasonable. We will certainly be calling them again in the spring.
