Everyone I dealt with was friendly, however I'm very disappointed with the end result. The mower is now running (after being in the shop for 3 weeks), but as soon as I got it home I began to mow the lawn I found a few issues. One of the blades was not screwed on right so I had to get under there and tighten it myself and after about 20 minutes of it running and it started leaking oil. I called them and explained that I don't have a truck and I didn't want to bother my father-in-law for a third lift to the shop. They offered to come pick it up. They ended up charging me for the pick-up, as well as $60 labor and the mower is still leaking as badly as before. When I called them about it he pretty much told me that's the way it is.

Met me at the door; salesperson wrote up service order with $75 estimate and guarantee that I would be called if charges were more and said to expect it in 2-3 working days; received call 5 working days later saying the charge would be significantly more than estimate and I told person on phone ''no'' and that I would just pick it up as I didn't want to spend that much money; arrived that afternoon and he told me the work had been completed and what the charge was. I reminded him of the estimate and our phone call just a few hours prior and he told me that the serviceman just did the work because he wanted to leave for the day. Salesperson first gave me a choice between splitting the difference of the estimate and their new charge or putting it back in back in original condition (it was running) and I said I didn't like those choices and he finally agreed to charging me the estimate price in a huff. I don't know if they were trying to pull one over on me or it was an honest mistake

Excellent service and good price. Tree Tools promised two-day turn-around, but actually finished in less than 24 hours. Quality of replacement parts looks better than the factory originals. My only reservation was an addition they made to the original work order without asking for my approval. I'd requested just the starter cord replacement. They noticed the throttle cable was kinked and replaced it with a used one for an additional $10. I'm glad they did and gladly paid for the additional work, but I would have felt better if they'd called to get my approval first. Nevertheless, I'm pleased with the results and the mower works fine. I'll use them again.
