These guys were all over it. Efficient, pleasant, timely even enthusiastic. Will definitely use them again.

It went great!!! The day before the work was done, Dustin came by to check out the project and give me an estimate. The first thing I was impressed with is that he called me when he was about a half hour away and said he was on his way. That gave me time to be prepared. When he got here, right away he could tell the Japanese Maple had a fungus problem. He gave me quote for the work to be done on both trees and we set it up for the next day. The next day - same thing! I got a call from him and his brother Rusty telling me they would be here within the hour. (Who does that anymore....give a courtesy call?!?!) I was so impressed. They got here and Rusty went right to work and pruned and shaped up the Japanese Maple that I hardly recognized it was the same tree!! It was a beautifully done job!! He then sprayed the tree trunks for the fungus issue. In the meantime, Dustin was getting prepped to get up into the large birch. They do not use a bucket truck, but rather a harness and ropes. He was up there (I could hardly see him behind all the branches) and then branches started coming down. Before he came down he got my attention on the ground to see if there was anything else I could see that needed pruning out. I gave him the 100% beautiful job signal and he came down then. They got everything chipped up, raked up, cleaned up with barely a single flower broke over down around the base of the trees. The price was incredibly reasonable and I would recommend Tillis Tree Care for anyone who needs pruning and tree work taken care of. The price listed here is "after" the discount.

I first met Dusty & his team several years ago when I had a very sad palm tree. Dusty recommended deep fertilization bi-annually. Within one fertilization, my palm tree produced flowering fruit for the first time in 3 years. My palm continued to produce flowering fruit annually until I sold the home. I have since hired Alive to take care of my birch trees, along with my 75+ year old oak tree. I would recommend Alive Arboriculture in a heart beat!

The trimmers arrived on time and finished when they said they would. They did a good job of cleaning up when they were done trimming. No complaints at all from this customer.

This was a $75 big deal purchase. We would have paid them more, but their services were more restrictive. We needed somebody to grind a stump and they couldn't do that. We also needed somebody to remove the wood and they would not do that. So, it was pretty much come and cut down a tree, which, frankly, I could have done myself for $75. They were very informative and helpful. I talked to them briefly when they were out here so that was good. I would tell others that they don't remove the wood. They are willing to talk to you and give you as much information as you need. The quality of service was good. When I have a tree taken down I need full service and this is the first company I have seen that does not remove the wood.

There was confusion on my part. I was waiting for a phone call and did not realize we communicate by angie's list. We were surprised they left the cuttings and did not remove them, but it was okay. We thought there would have been more trimming but it was okay. We were not there and at work. However, good news yes we would use them again.

They promptly responded and after looking at pictures I sent them, they concluded they could not access the stumps I wanted them to grind but they did suggest someone who could. Professionally handled encounter.

Excellent. This operation required a larger than normal crew for them, and everyone was very professional as well as hard working. The removal of the huge dead cedar was almost like a surgical operation and impressed many neighbors as well as myself. Great job!!

The bid for the job was provided by Dustin. He was punctual and professional. Wade and his partner showed up early. They removed the limb efficiently and cleared all the debris. They did a wonderful job and were very friendly and professional.

We needed a large tree stump and 4 bush stumps ground. Alive Arboriculture exceeded expectations and did an amazing job grinding all the stumps. Very professional, courteous and prompt. Highly recommend.

Purchase the one-hour service deal. We were very pleased with the service provided. Schedule a Saturday am appointment which was really convenient for us. Arrived promptly and took the time to ask questions about the service we wanted and what we were wanting out of it so that he could best use his time to deliver what we wanted. Did a great job pruning 4, out-of-control rhodies and working with us to figure out a good plan to keep them in good shape.
