Description of Work: They put in a retaining wall at our home. They gave us a very good deal on the work they did for us. Initially they gave us a higher bid, but were able to give us a discount at a later time. They did a great job and everything looks wonderful.

Description of Work: Built a recycled concrete retaining wall across the front of our property; replaced old steps and walkway; and installed a new driveway approach.

Description of Work: They tore down a collapsing rubble dry wall (about 4'H x 12'L) on a pretty steep hill, and replaced it with a mortared wall. They re-used the original rubble (concrete chunks), brought in some more, and added PVC weep holes. They dealt with the rain nonchalantly with a blue tarp. Cleanup was complete -- in fact, over the top, in that they hosed down my walks and rocks of debris that was unrelated to their work. They were courteous, professional, & prompt. The hand-off from the person (Rick) who did the initial visit and estimate/bid to the man (George) and his helper (Jesse) who did the actual work was seamless. The final result is attractive. I have only good things to say about The Wall; the only reason I gave them a B instead of A on the price is because, although I feel that the price was completely fair, I needed to leave room at the top for a potentially bargain price. Still in this case, I am completely satisfied and highly recommend these folks.

Description of Work: What professional service! "The Wall" is the best company I have ever had to work with. They were on time, and were here to perform the work only a few weeks after we signed our contract. I have another part of my stone wall to repair, and when I am ready to start that project, I will be calling "The Wall" The concrete work and the repairing and replacing the stones, was done exactly as they stated how it would be done. The craftsman ship is of the highest quality. The work that was performed was to match, repair, and install weep holes in two existing stone walls along the side of a driveway. They also hauled away soil that was pushing the existing stone away from the walls. The existing stone walls that were repaired, were about 11' x 3 1/2 feet.

Description of Work: I contacted The Wall because my fence fell down due to heavy rain and the fact that my neighbor's yard is 4 ft lower than my yard. Someone (cannot recall name) came very promptly to look and the problem and possible solutions. Ultimately I decided to intall a wood retaining wall so I was not able to use The Wall's services (they don't do this type of retaining wall) but I would not hesitate to call them again if I had a job that was appropriate for them.
