We are happy with their work. Communication with email and phone was responsiveness. They handled an unplanned mishap professional and expediently.

I hired them for two days, but they probably needed four to do it all. They fit me in to a hole in their schedule, otherwise it would have been a month before they could have gotten to me. I would recommend meeting with the main guy (which I didn't do) and tagging any plants that may not look like much, but are wanted. They did seem to really pursue the weed roots, which is great. A few perennials don't seem to have survived the clean-up effort, though with our cold spring some may still emerge. If I could travel back in time I would have shown them pictures of the full-summer yard of years past, so they would know where things were and look out for them. The main impetus for hiring help was the invasive blackberry canes, and they did get most of them. Overall, they did a great job in a short amount of time.

I'm very satisfied with the results. After visiting the site, I received an estimate in a couple of days with a reasonably detailed listing of what would be done, the materials to be used, and how much it would cost. After the contract and the down payment, they started work promptly, kept working until the job was done in four days (despite some weather-related slowdowns) and were very courteous and careful the whole time. Would definitely hire again.

Austin and team at the Green Seed are top notch. After having an oil tank dug up in my backyard, I decided to have the 2,500 square foot backyard landscaped. Austin came up with a great design and gave some great recommendations as well as opinion in some of the choices. I chose steel edging that was welded together and securely installed. In addition to laying the new sod, I had them install drains for the gutters to drain into underground pipe and come up in a couple of rain garden areas. They also spread rock along the house that gave a nod to the mid century house. They thoroughly explained how to care for the yard in the hot summer. The mature shrubs and grass are beautiful. There customer service is terrific and they were reasonably priced. I am now having them rework a car parking area on the other side of my driveway with pavers and gravel.

the green seed team that Austin has built is exceptional! they completely maintain this beautiful high-maintenance garden, front and back, which includes some water features. The property has a number of special trees and plants which need pruning and specific care and their knowledge and care is just wonderful. I hope they will also be advising me on some new plants or trees for another side of the garden soon, since they are knowledgable about native plants. I cannot recommend them enough. They recently designed a front yard landscape and fence for my neighbors which is also very light, beautiful and welcoming.

I am completely thrilled with my experience with the nice folks at the Green Seed. I picked the Green Seed to design & install my front yard because they specialize in native, drought-resistant plants. I also liked that they are a local family business. Emily got back to me right away when I contacted them & arranged a time a few days later for Austin to come over & take a look at my yard. Austin then sent me two different landscape design choices at different price points. I picked a design & arranged a date for the installation. Austin and his worker came on the days arranged, completed the install on time and for the price we agreed on. AND IT LOOKS AMAZING. Just a nice mix of plants with different colors and textures, some nice stepping stone paths that have a lovely flow. I also liked that he planted the nice smelling plants - star jasmine & bloomerang lilac close to my porch - very thoughtful design. I'd definitely recommend the Green Seed & actually I have already sent their contact information to my brother!
