Doug came out to look at my existing vertical blinds, which I thought needed to be replaced. Instead he "fixed" two of them and sent a guy out to repair the large heavy one (which had pulled out from a fastener and fallen down) and reinstall it. Total cost $90. He'll be my go-to guy now.

We needed the new blinds before a house guest arrived because one of the slats was broken on the old ones. Doug Hall made it happen in less than two weeks, from coming out to show us samples, measure the window, and select a replacement, to having the blinds installed. We were very satisfied with the entire process and would not hesitate to use him again.

Excellent advice for what shades would look best on the Windows, the color, how / if they would operate with a remote, whether blackouts, and other details to consider before making decisions. Very personal and patient answering questions. Happy with how the shades look on the Windows, measurements are perfect, remote works as prescribed. The two people who hanged and adjusted the shades came on time, very courteous, professional, and quick. Done within 30 minutes.

Doug knows all the details of the many different blinds and fabric choices. He gave us excellent advice. The blinds arrived when he said they would (remarkably fast), and the installation went without any problems. We are very happy with our new blinds and more comfortable in the house.

I thought my request was fairly simple. I had experience with a particular type of vertical shade in my apartment on a lower floor. I asked for this vendor's recommendation and asked for the whitest shade possible. The shades arrived in color that I had asked for but the hardware was a dingy shade of tan. After being told this was just how the manufacturer makes them...was told there would be a charge to change to the hardware to white. I'd made it very clear that I wanted to whitest shades possible. The vendor finally agreed to change out the hardware to white. The shades arrived and were re-installed. This time I discovered that the shades valance was too tall to allow the windows to be fully opened. I asked to vendor about this and he told me there was nothing that could be done other than take the valence off. I don't think taking the valence off is an acceptable solution. The vendor says there is nothing more that he is willing to do. If I had been given the choice up front about the drawbacks of using this type of shade, I might have picked a different shade. I relied on the experience of this vendor to recommend a good solution. He will not accept responsibility and has not offered any other solutions. I'm extremely disappointed with this vendor and warn all others against using them.

I responded to an Angie's List special for a discount on window shades, including measuring, providing the shades, and installation. In the event, I decided to save money by doing the install myself. Mr. Hall got back to me immediately, made an appointment and arrived on time. He seemed very willing to spend time answering questions and exploring options to cut costs. The shades were custom ordered and I have not received them yet, so I can"t comment on the quality of the product, but the service was faultless.

Doug did a great job. He arrived on time and was friendly and professional. He went the extra mile to help me with suggestions for blinds for the rooms in my house. He also did a great job installing the blinds. I will definitely use him to complete the installation of additional blinds in my house.

Doug was great. He came back several times because I wanted to be sure my husband would like what I picked out. His prices were competitive and quality of blinds are great.

He was friendly, helpful and professional. He was more than willing to discuss all the options for fixing or replacing my blinds. He was extremely knowledgeable and I would recommend him to anyone! Last minute we had a change in our plans, but Doug was very quick to work with us to find a time that still fit our schedule. He was able to work around inconveniences that were created on our end and still delivered a great product on-time. Really thankful for his help and willingness to adjust. Mr. Hall called right away to set up an appointment, and he arrived as promised. After looking at the very dirty and ugly valance, Mr. Hall offered to remove it for me. He also told me that, in his opinion, the windows didn't really need anything over them. I found Mr. Hall to be very honest, as he could have tried to sell me a window treatment. I also appreciate it very much that he removed that horrible valance for me, a job I couldn't do. What I can speak to is Mr. Hall's honesty and offer to do something he didn't have to do, and for that I recommend him highly.

He was very attentive and the work was done on time. He even followed up afterwards to make sure the shades were working fine. He did a great job.

Very prompt when asked to come out to measure for shades. Installation took a little bit longer than expected due to an accident suffered by the owner who was to install the shades. We love the shades and would highly recommend this company.

He did not push the product; he was there to help me out. This salesman has ethics. When I buy new blinds and when my friends need new blinds or replacements, I will strongly recommend Doug. Doug is easy to work with and knowledgeable. I needed to replace a window treatment because the cord kept breaking every couple of years. Doug helped me pick out the type of shade and cord system that would be the most durable for my large picture window. Doug arrived on time and was very thorough in explaining the various products he had. He was very helpful in leading me through the decision making process. The blinds arrived in the time he said they would take and the installer was equally efficient and punctual. Everything went very well and I am very pleased with the end result.

Doug is a great professional, and his advice was very good and well delivered. We did not compare prices, so we can't say, but it seemed reasonable given past experience. Much better advice than going into Lowes or Home Depot and doing it yourself. His installer and assistant put up the two large blackout shades in about an hour - at least twice or three times as fast (and better) than we would have by ourselves - this was challenging as it had to come out over the existing blinds. They were great - no fuss, no mess. Would absolutely recommend Doug to anyone.

Doug was prompt, courteous, knowledgable and thorough. After a tour of our home we went through our options. The next day we received a detailed estimate. Although we chose anther provider, if it was in our budget we would have used Doug and his product.

The experience was kind of mixed. It was okay. He is probably well versed in window treatments. I had a problem with his attention to detail; I felt it was lacking.

Doug answered and said he would come to our home within one hour to assess repair of the shade. He was early, reported he could have the cord repaired and returned by the next day. He was kind and hung a large replacement shade over the window for our privacy. The next morning her returned to our home with the repaired shade. Doug was very prompt and professional. He came out within a day of my call, did an estimate, took everything away and two days later came back with all the blinds and shades beautifully repaired. He was very honest about my options, which I really liked and appreciated. He didn't try to sell me what I didn't need, but gave me all the options. I'd use him again in a heart beat.

Doug was very professional. He came to my home and measured my family room and kitchen windows, then provided me with estimates for Silhouette blinds. At my request, he also followed-up with estimates for Comfortex blinds. His prices were great, but I ultimately decided to use another vendor due to slightly better pricing. I would definitely consider him for future blind purchases.

Doug arrived on time and had a professional demeanor. He looked at 12 window wood shutters and helped me check each out for function and/or problems. A few were missing cords. Others were missing wands to open and close. A few just had cords that were so twisted that the mechanisms were not functional. He helped fix the twisted cords and made sure all of the blinds were working. I will order new wands and other missing components from a local Hunter Douglas shop and my problems will be solved. Doug was at my house for 30 minutes. He did not charge me anything for his assistance. If I decide to change out my blinds for different window coverings, I will do so with Doug Hall Drapery.
