Description of Work: I was looking to get some basic cross training and to work out with Matt Lindland. The experience was awesome and the entire team was great from start to finish. thanks, Keep up the great work.

Description of Work: I've been with Team Quest since the 1st year they opened. They have kept the world champion mentality. Although they are best known as a MMA gym, they have also brought in Fabiano Scherner from Brasil, who is a World Champion BJJ Black Belt. Under his coaching, Team Quest has developed a BJJ team that has a number of gold, silver and bronze medals at the Nationals, Pan American Games and the Mundials (Worlds). Team Quests history of champions in the UFC speaks for itself. It is not a intimidating gym at all. Just the opposite. Very friendly but serious instruction in all disciplines. Fitness programs as well. Not too many gyms in the country where you can work out and get coaching with this caliber of atheletes, or just come in to get in better shape. Tom Palmer

Description of Work: Team Quest is a mixed martial arts gym located in Tualitan, West Linn and Gresham. Randy Corture, Matt Lindland, Evan Tanner, Danny Henderson, Chris Leben, Ed Herman, Chael Sonnen, Nate Quarry all came from Team Quest. 5 time world champion 2nd degree BJJ Black Belt Fabiano Scherner teaches Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the Tualatin and West Linn locations.

 + -1 moreIts difficult to narrow in on one story about how it went overall. There have been so many ups and downs in my experience with Team Quest. But as I start training for my first half marathon. going into it with the intent of jogging the entire thing to boot; I have to say that without Team Quest I would not be where I am at today. The coaches are extremely supportive and understand how to bring the best out of you, even when you are not ready to bring the best out of yourself. They reach out to people, no matter what their interests, what their goals and what they want to do while they are there. I started wanting to get from 243lbs to 175 and am very proud to say that I am now celebrating two and a half years of keeping the weight off. I am proof that what they say works. If you are there to get healthy they want to help, if you are there for you. If you commit to them they are willing to commit 110 percent to you and what you want to accomplish. I highly recommend them as the place to make it happen.
Description of Work: I have been a member of Team Quest for four years, working in their FIT classes, Kickboxing and working privately with one of their coaches. The original goal was weight loss. Currently I am training for my first half marathon something I would of never thought possible.
