We are ecstatic! Working with the SWC team (Reyna and Alexei) was an absolute delight. They were highly collaborative and had great design inspiration. SWC is passionate about heirloom quality furniture and they deliver works of art. It started with some great idea sharing and then went to wood selection. As a team, we selected the wood that worked best for our design. We were on a tight timeline to deliver our furniture before the holidays started. They worked hard and kept us well informed of the progress. They delivered on their commitments. Summit Wood Creations puts life back into fallen grand old trees. I inherited my grandmother's childhood desk, a small roll-top oak desk. Wanting to repair it so I could give it to my daughter, I asked friends for furniture repair recommendations. One friend suggested I check with Maldonado's, as she'd had many pieces of furniture custom made at that shop. Although this business is in my neighborhood, I'd never been in there and would not have thought to see if they did repair work. I took in the desk and within 20 minutes it was looked at and an estimate was given. Two weeks later I picked up the desk and was pleased to find the roll top opening smoothly and the legs much sturdier than they had been. My daughter now uses her great grandmother's desk regularly. As an additional comment, the furniture they made for my friend is lovely and looks well-made. She's returned many times for new pieces.
