Terrible experience. I'm still working through the damage and dealing with the extra expense of having items moved where they need to go because the Suddath movers said they couldn't fit through a door or they couldn't reassemble the item. This company used to be good when run under a local businessman but not now. Because my move was under 50 miles I had to pay by the hour and frequently had to ask the supervisor to have his men stop standing around chatting and get to work. The corporate structure puts barriers in the way of great customer service - I simply can't recommend based on my experience.

Very smooth. The driver was professional when he dropped off the unit at the first house. Movement to the new house went easy and he was able to spin the unit around to make it easier to load. Once we got it empty it was easy to schedule the pickup, seven without us being home. Very easy and good to work with.

We were very pleased that we decided on Swartz for our move from San Francisco to Portland. We interviewed several companies, and Swartz impressed us as a clear standout in professionalism and trustworthiness. Our move was expediently arranged, and when there were some items damaged in transit, the staff at Swartz was both responsive and equitable in repairing or recompensing the damage. Each member of the company that we dealt with was well-organized, personable, and professional. Swartz came through as an ethical, honorable company which stood behind its fine reputation. We would definitely use them again, and we have already told friends and colleagues about this commendable company. Highest recommendation!

They did great everything came out great.

My overall experience with Swartz Moving & Storage was absolutely outstanding. My employer covered the move, so I didn’t have to pay them anything. The quality of their work was excellent. They were very responsive and very professional. I would absolutely use them again. I did have a houseplant, which usually isn’t something that they would move. It was sentimental and they took that into consideration. They were fantastic enough to move it, keep it at their office address, and let me pick it from there.

OK. They just too long to get furniture to Philly; over 11 days. We paid top insurance dollar for %100 coverage and they hasseled us over a long time consuming period before re-imbursing us a pathetic $104.00

Everything went horrible. They broke 30% of all the glassware, lost my bedframe and 20% of my furniture.

They were very good and I had no complaints. They were on time and friendly. I had one thing that got dented and they took care of that. It was a really small amount to move.

Everything went fine. There were no major problems and I was satisfied with them.

Not sure of final cost, as it was through a company relocation. However, I would have paid Swartz myself had I known how well they were going to take care of our personal items from our cross country move. They kept our items in their storage facility for over 3 months, and when they delivered the items, the movers were prompt, courteous and very good at what they do. I enjoyed working with Swartz and they will be my first choice if I ever have to leave Portland.

The company moved us here as part of a relocation, so we contracted them for our return move, and they came and carted our TV and marble table and packed our paintings and moved them to our new home.

THE REPRESENTATIVES WERE VERY NICE AND HELPFUL. I GOT SEVERAL QUOTES, AND SWARTZ'S WAS ABLE TO GIVE ME THE BEST DEAL, OVERALL.

I MOVED WITH THEM 8 TIMES. I DID THAT BASED ON A COMPETITIVE PRICE PROSPECTIVE. THEY ALSO HAD A GOOD REPUTATION. THEY ARE LESS SHADY THAN MOST. THEY DID WHAT THEY WERE GOING TO DO.

I WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZED WITH THE CARE THAT WAS GIVEN TO ALL OF MY BELONGINGS BY UNITED VAN LINES. NOT ONE GLASS WAS BROKEN AND I DID NOT FIND ONE SINGLE SCRATCH ON ANY OF MY FURNITURE.
