My freezer in the refrigerator had a coating of ice on the bottom. Its scary when something goes wrong. You worry about price and honesty in the business. I thought who can I trust to come and do a job with a fair price. I asked a close friend, and she told me about Stellar. Chris came out and fixed the problem in 15 minutes. He even thought of checking another part of the fridge just in case it might be failing. He was wonderful!! My husband wanted to give him extra money, but he refused!! Imagine that!! Since then we have had 2 other appliances fail and I called Chris right away. I felt lucky to have him as a resource. Chris is smart and trustworthy! I wish he could do plumbing and roof repair.

Wow - I've had other appliance repair folks in the past but Chris sets the bar extremely high! Our LG front load washer was leaking and he quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem leaving our 5 year old washer in like new condition. Extremely professional and courteous - we've found our appliance repair company and they have a customer for life!

Never heard back from them.

Oh, my gosh! Chris is great...let me count the ways. 1. Came out a full week before ANYONE else said they could. 2. Very upfront. Didn't have the access to a wiring diagram and wasn't 100% certain he could fix it. But would come out and try. If he couldn't fix it, we wouldn't be charged. 3. He was scheduled to come out between 10am and 12pm. Called that morning and asked to come out earlier. 4. He was in, the problem diagnosed and fixed, and he was gone in 45 minutes! This included discovering he had to unscrew our dishwasher from the floor (I didn't know that installers would actually sink screws through the feet of the washer into the floor). 5. Discovered a side issue (our water shutoff to the dishwasher doesn't shutoff completely). 6. Price ($189) was very reasonable for service call, diagnosing, installing a new valve and clean-up. 7. He worked like his hair was on fire!!! That kind of energy needs to be bottled! 8. Having said he worked fast, ANY questions I had were ok and he took all the time I needed to get answers (and I didn't feel rushed). 9. Finally, he was just a nice guy. So rare to find a service provider/owner that will not try to up-sell you and are just pleasant to be around. For confirmation, I encourage the reader to research other sites (particularly one that rhymes with "Help!" and see how many people say the same things I have said. I have Chris/Stellar on speed dial...I do own a washing machine and dryer, after all!

It went excellent! When he was done the ice maker worked perfect! The owner, Chris, came out himself. He was very professional and I would definitely hire him again.

Great experience. He was on time, quickly diagnosed the problem., He found the part, drove 18 miles one was to pick it up, returned in rush hour traffic, and completed the repair the same day. We are beyond happy and have referred him to friends and family. My sister just called him to come and see about her refrigerator

Chris was excellent. Experienced, knowledgeable, thorough and quick, so he would not waste my money and a nice fellow to boot. I am very picky and critical of service providers and couldn't find anything wrong with his great work. He fixed 2 and advised me on the others. He was well worth what he charged me (and I'm a very thrifty person). I contacted him again months later when I had a problem with my dryer and he again impressed the **** out of me with his knowledge and helpfulness. I won't use anybody else.

There are the usual problems. They were on time. I know that they had to come back.

I had him check out 4 of my appliances with a variety of problems and felt he was well worth what he charged me (and I'm a very thrifty person). He performed a mix of fixing the problems and showing me how to save money by fixing some of the problems myself.

We have had TWO previous service people over trying to fix both these appliances. The first guy gave us a lesson on how not to put any food down the disposal. The second guy cleaned out the trap in the dishwasher, pulled out a few small items and let us know that was the problem. This guy couldn't find anything wrong with the burner. When Chris came out, he got right tot he problem of the dishwasher - there was a little ball that should have been in a pipe but was just rolling around in the sump. Someone had taken the appliance apart and not put it back together correctly. He couldn't understand why someone else could not figure out this easy fix. As for the stove, the switch needed to be replaced which monitors the burner. He knew this just from my explanation of what was going on with it, how it was turning itself off and then coming back on with only the small burner, not the large, etc. He got the part and was back in two days. Unbelievable knowledge and professional service from this guy and this company. I will never call anyone else to fix my appliances. He's it. I would urge everyone else to use him. Prices are reasonable and service is prompt and excellent.
