SPEED CONCEPT

So I reviewed a number of reviews online before calling around town looking for someone to tint my car windows and I was looking for professionals who did quality work in a timely manner; along the way I learned that SPEED CONCEPT had a NEW OWNER. Intrigued, I called Speed Concept and after speaking with Hong I felt that he was the most professional and most friendly with a good deal of knowledge. He let me know all of my options up front for tinting percentages and their pricing - he did specify what is legal in OR and what is not. He also told me that the tint comes with a lifetime warranty and that on average they would need 1.5-2 hours to work on each of the cars. I was so pleased with how informative he was I booked two appointments with SPEED CONCEPT right away. Since I was having service for two cars I asked about a discount and I was given 5% off the total for each car. Our appointments (by choice) were over a two day period. We took the first sedan in at 330pm and received a call by 5pm that is was done and ready. The result was so fabulous and we felt that we had a new car! Upon our departure we were given a certificate that states we have legal 35% tint on our car and that if there are any issues in the future with a cop pulling us over they will happily speak to them on our behalf. We also were informed of DO's and DONT's so that the film has time to set and dry, included were expectations that we may see in the next 4-5 days and if we have questions feel free to call or go back in. We also had written instructions that came with our certificate and receipt along with recommended cleaning DO's and DON'Ts in case we forgot. I was so excited that I was grateful for the written documentation. The next day we dropped off our second car and this time I decided to add the 6 inch visor tint at 15% of course I had a difference to pay but I still had my 5% discount. Through conversation I learned that Hong previously came from an electronic background so I asked him if they had time while they had my car if they could troubleshoot my cigarette lighter as I was annoyed that it never worked and that I had attempted in the past and to no avail had no success. He checked their schedule and said that they were busy for the rest of the day but that they would have time the next day. Since I had a 5hr class the next day I asked if I could just leave the car there for the night? He had no problem with it and told me that they would be parking it in their garage so I would not have to worry. I was so pleased to hear this news that I was also relieved. Hong took my request with professional grace and a positive attitude and after class I stopped by to check on the car and it was just going in to have the troubleshooting start. I didn't mind as I was hungry and in about 1.5 hrs I go the call that the car was done and that I now had a WORKING cigarette lighter for my phone/ipod accessories at NO EXTRA CHARGE! Turns out it was a fuse that was in the engine area! They found one that didn't look right and swapped it out and presto it worked. I was also informed that they checked all of my fuses and had to remove the dash in order to verify that they lighter harness was connected and working properly. I was so thankful that it was working that even if there was an extra charge I would've paid it! The second sedans tint was legal but with the 6inch visor tint made it look so slick that I could not help but be thrilled with their work. THANK YOU SPEED CONCEPT!!! I am now trying to convince my dad that he needs to take my Mom's sedan in to have it tinted too and that he should take it to SPEED CONCEPT since they do such GREAT work! I highly recommend them. My brother drove me over to the shop when I dropped off the second sedan and while he was there with me he asked Hong a lot of questions about parts and services: my brother inquired about intakes and parts as he has been wanted to clean his for his Tacoma and Hong told him that they had the parts for the 3inch that my brother has in/on his truck. My brother asked if SPEED CONCEPT does any powder coating but they do not, instead they can do that they can do a plastic coating for parts. My brother also asked if they carry and install smoked tinted glass panes for vehicles/trucks and though they don't Hong recommended Speed Glass Auto. My brother and I found Hong to be very knowledgeful and friendly. We were really impressed and pleased and Hong made a GREAT IMPRESSION. Definitely going back in the future with any custom needs for my vehicles.
