SOLSTICE PAINTING

It had been at least 5 years since the door got any attention and it was definitely looking worse for wear, as it is exposed to both sun and rain. It is a wide door with lots of carving on it requiring detailed care. They did a great job of making the door look new again, and took care to explain what would be best for this type of wood and the conditions it faces. As they were busy with other projects, and the weather varied from day to day, they refinished the door in stages over several days (which also allowed time for drying between coats). We are very happy with the result.

Airlangga and Cesar arrived on time Saturday morning and prepared the front door unit for refinishing. The took extra care to make sure the color of the threshold of the front door matched up with the rest of the door unit. They masked everything off and quit at about 4:40. They returned Sunday morning and removed the patio doors to the front courtyard, where they stained and lacquered the doors to a gorgeous color and finish. We were exceedingly pleased by the quality of work and professionalism of Airlangga and Cesar, and have referred them to some of our interior design friends.
