Description of Work: Came to inspect and they did a siding inspection of the whole house.

Description of Work: Inspected my plywood panel siding, which, on the south side of the house, was visibly rotting on the bottom. Tasi Watson spent a total of about two hours visually inspecting and doing moisture readings. She found some additional damage that I was not aware of. She e-mailed me a report (in pdf format) two days later. The report included about 8 pages of photos and description of the issues at my house. An appendix described some repair techniques that are used for siding problems. They also provided a list of contractor referrals.

Description of Work: This company was recommended by a siding replacement contractor as someone who could function as a recognized expert witness to provide an independent non-proprietary inspection that I could use to challenge Weyerhaeuser s inspection of their 12 year old version of compressed particle board siding. The inspecting engineer spent nearly three hours performing numerous tests, quantifying the deformation, moisture content, and degradation of my siding. I was provided with a comprehensive 14 page report that served as the basis of the request for a quote I sent out to prospective bidders to mitigate my siding problems. I was enabled by this report to intelligently decide whether to replace or simply repair the siding. Mitigation methods and procedures were provided and documented. A list of recommended local siding repair and painting contractors and recommended materials, was also part of the final report.

Description of Work: WE HAD OUR L-P SIDING INSPECTED BEFORE WE PUT OUR HOME UP FOR SALE. THE INSPECTOR WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND GAVE US AN ACCURATE ASSESSMENT OF THE CONDITION OF THE SIDING. WE WERE THEN ABLE TO USE THIS INFORMATION AND DO THE REPAIRS CALLED OUT FOR. THIS BROUGHT OUR SIDING UP TO SERVICEABLE CONDITION. WE WERE THEN ABLE TO USE THE REPORT TO SHOW POTENTIAL HOME BUYERS.
