They did a superb job. Eric provided an on-time estimate with measuring and the crew was polite, tidy and responsive. We have used other Portland area awning companies. I highly recommend Rose City.

We first met with Eric Snair and he explained all of our options. Eric was very patient and thorough. We were impressed with his professionalism and his understanding of our situation. Pete Fessler and Raphael Hayes did the install and were very detailed and professional in their work. They were very helpful and explained operation and care of our new awning system. We are very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend this company to others. If you want the best, hire the best. Rose City Awning exceeded our expectations.

We picked up the awning on the day that they said it would be ready. We had one problem with squeaking and they came out immediately and resolved the issue. We are very happy with this awning and would highly recommend Rose City Awning.

The person who first came out to measure and do the estimate is a man of few words. Not a lot of reassurance or enthusiasm, but came out when he said he would and answered questions as asked. The processing time was a little longer than I expected. Installation was done by another employee, who was quick and pleasant. The awning initially was sort of sloped toward the front. I asked for it to be made level. It took some time before they got back to me, but, in due time, they certainly did make it right, and it looks great.

I contacted them via email to get a quote on a project I have (I'm totally naive and new to the awning market). Mike emailed me a quote based on the pictures and rough specs I sent. The quote was lacking much detail, so I went in to chat with Mike. He wasn't in, so I talked with Eric instead--very courteous and professional, and helped me get a better idea of what I needed, and said he'd have Mike update the quote. Despite talking with Eric and understanding that the modifications we discussed would be less expensive than the originally-quoted configuration, my quote went up from around $400 (materials only) to over $700. There was no detail in the quote--no mention of any of the parts and materials we discussed, so I wrote back asking for a more detailed quote, and to figure out if perhaps there was an error in the recalculation. To this, I got a terse reply: and quot;This is our best price on the project.and quot; No detailed bid, no further info, nothing. I emailed back explaining that what I really wanted was some detail (i.e. how much is the material, how much are the various parts, etc). I never heard back again. That's my idea of a business I don't care to support. Thank you Eric for your outstanding service, but with the service I received from Mike P, I don't care to return.

The salesperson was on time and explained everything well. The work was done on the day we decided on and in a timely manner. The awnings not only look terrific and keep the house much cooler in the heat of summer, but can be raised and lowered easily. I have told several of my friends about this company , they were great to work with and I am pleased with the result.

It was a small job that only took about 20 minutes to complete. They were very reliable and it was very good. It didn't take them long to complete the work.

Dave was pleasant and professional. Work was done three weeks ahead of expected date because of an unexpected open window of time. On time, called ahead and very good price.

They usually take the initiative to remind me if it's about time to do something, and ask if I want it done. They do a good job making new awnings. They give great service.

Mr. Pedersen came to my home with a free estimate and showed samples of different sizes and fabric and gave advice on what he felt would work best for me. I was then sent a written estimate, no pressure or follow up phone calls. I called, scheduled a date, two installers arrived on date and time, completed in job in approximately two hours, gave me full instructions on operation and they left.

From the initial phone call to the finished job I was very satisfied. I never saw the crew who did the work and wouldn't have known they were at my house, other than the awnings were gone. Yea!

They don't do any real custom work. You get a pretty basic product but don't expect them to be very creative.

The salesman was prompt, polite, and helped me figure a way to attach the awnings to the house. His suggestions worked well. They were installed today. The installer was slow, but polite and did a good job. They look good. They were promised for three weeks, but I got them in five. It didn't matter that much because it was fall, but they didn't let me know.

Very disappointed in the company. The first awning fabric selected, after much coordination with paint, tile, etc., had been discontinued for a long time. It took longer than promised to get the awning. Tried to charge $500 more than agreed upon amount after installation.

ROSE CITY AWNING CO. TOTALLY HAD MY ATTENTION WHEN I SAW SOME OF THEIR WORK. I WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZED AT THEIR QUALITY OF WORK. THEY REPAIRED MY AWNING IN 1 DAY AND WE WERE ABLE TO PICK IT UP RIGHT AWAY.
