Situated in beautiful Portland, Oregon – the heart and soul of the Pacific Northwest – we have been designing, crafting, finishing and installing fine custom cabinets and architectural millwork for an ever expanding list of clientele for over 15 years. Virtually all of our clients come to us as referrals from previous clients, which we believe is a testimonial to the enduring value of our cabinetry and the level of customer service we provide.
Whether a design calls for old world cabinets with hand-carved furniture elements, traditional cabinets with layers of unique moldings, period cabinets with architecturally accurate details or contemporary cabinets with creative uses of “green” building materials, our team of craftsmen approach every aspect of the project with care and attention to the smallest detail.
A recurring praise we hear from former clients is that we are easy to work with. Our approach is beautifully simple and completely centered around our clients’ schedule and budget – make ourselves accessible, offer creative designs, be responsive to their requests, be unphased by change and deliver on our promises.
We know our clients are market savvy and well-researched, and have many options available. But it is our conviction that whereas quality, creativity and craftsmanship are the benchmarks of our business, these do not need to be synonymous with outrageously expensive. We strive to offer our clients an unsurpassed value for their investment in both time and money, and to that end our design services are always at no cost or obligation.
We love sitting down over a cup of coffee and finding out more about our clients and their visions; sharing more about our company and our services; and talking about kitchens, cabinetry, furniture and wood. And at the end of the process we love sitting down with our clients over a glass of wine and hearing how we played a part in helping them realize their dreams. We look forward to sharing that glass with you some day.

Alex is an artist and engineering genius. He is meticulous about every detail and extremely passionate about his work. He listens to your ideas and enhances 'your' dreams of the project. From the first time we met him, he was courteous, incredibly creative and very approachable. He was always timely and phoned if he was running late or needed to reschedule. He and his crew are a pleasure to have in our home. They asked if they could work late or on a weekend (to get the job done!). They always cleaned up after themselves. We were kept up to date on every small detail or change. They also coordinate with our other contractors (i.e. countertop fabricator, flooring, etc.) If there is anything you are not 100% happy with/or would like to change, Alex and his project-manager, Kirill, will strive to exceed your expectations. For example, if a door is not hanging perfectly, Alex and/or Kirill will typically spot it before you will and have it corrected promptly. Our cabinetry looks like high-end furniture with feet (this is an optional design element), glass doors, hand carved elements throughout-by their in-house artists (thank you Ed and Andre'). Our kitchen and additional china cabinets are honestly one-of-a-kind works of art. We considered other contractors for our project, but no other business came close to providing the level of quality, nor were they as devoted to making our dreams come true. Their estimate was at the top of our budget, but we actually got so much more additional cabinetry, lighting, hand carved details, we feel they are competitive in the high end market. We consider Alex (and his colleagues) the Michelangelo of cabinet making. Thank you Alex, Kirill, Bill, Johnny, Ed, Andre, and Slava (and anyone else we neglected to mention). We will post photos with an update when the project is complete.
