.I had called my homeowner's insurance plan because water was backing up in my basement. The router company that came out told me that my sewer line was filled with roots and standing water and that a section - they weren't sure how extensive - would have to be replaced. It would not be covered. It would be at least $2000, probably more. An acquaintance told me she had gotten a similar dire story from a similar company, and that she had called Realistic Plumbing and they had come right out (she had a newborn) and ground out the rootball. I called Roger of Realistic Plumbing and explained my situation, and we made an appointment for a day or two later. He came out, made a thorough investigation, ran his own camera, detected no roots, but a bit of standing water. He ran a large snake through the line, dislodging a blockage of some sort. When water was still backing up, he cleaned out the kitchen line, which had been the original problem, apparently completely ignored by the other plumbers (if they were even that). They next day I had water around the drain again, and called Roger who came back out. Just as he got here I realized it was a washer hose problem caused entirely by me. I was embarrassed and apologetic, but he was a great sport. I am lodging a complaint with my home warranty company against the lying thieves they sent out and Roger has volunteered to provide any technical details they need, which I greatly appreciate. He is knowledgeable, intelligent, courteous, honest and explains everything thoroughly. I would not hesitate to call him again and would definitely recommend him.

This company is honest and very easy to deal with. He could have charged us thousands of dollars for unnecessary work, but didn't. We will definitely use him in the futurity for all of our plumbing work. BTW - I believe Realistic Plumbing is merging with 24/7 Inc.

THE PLUMBER TOLD ME THAT THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A 65 GALLON WATER HEATER, EVEN THOUGH THAT'S WHAT I CURRENTLY HAVE. HE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE.

THE CEILING HAD TO BE KNOCKED OUT TO FIND THE SOURCE OF THE PROBLEM, WHICH WAS A SMALL PINHOLE IN A PIPE. A QUICK REPAIR AND ADVICE ON HOW TO REPAIR THE CEILING HAD THE MATTER BEHIND US. THE BEST PART WAS WATCHING HOW RESPECTFULLY FATHER WORKED WITH SON AS A TEAM. WE WERE IMPRESSED.
