I paid $160 UPFRONT for an agreed-upon 5 hours of move-out cleaning, which seemed a fair price and an adequate amount of time. I agreed to pay more after the cleaning if more time was needed to clean everything. There was no mention of items being missed/skipped or more time being needed. I had already moved across town and did not have a chance to inspect the work. I just foolishly trusted they did a thorough cleaning and left it at that. Well I just got my rental deposit refund and the property owner kept $250 of my deposit for cleaning inside the oven, under the oven, under/behind the fridge, and cleaning the walls throughout the home. WHAT THE #@%$! First of all, how does a move-out clean not include all of these things? Second, what kind of professional service offers a "move-out clean" and leaves this much stuff uncleaned without telling the customer, "oh by the way, we didn't clean the kitchen or walls thoroughly??" I am extremely disappointed. Between the $160 paid and the $250 lost, I could have potentially saved myself over $400 doing this cleaning myself. The salt on the wound is that they apparently cannot afford to offer me a refund so I'm just out a whole bunch of money because I hired them and trusted them to do a good job.

Quality of the work was acceptable, but communication was lacking. Quote was based on telephone conversation and actual charge was considerably higher.

I have had a great experience with Raggedy Ann's. She and the cleaning staff she employs are all very professional, responsive and do a fantastic job cleaning. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

The same person comes every time. She's really nice, she's gotten fast. They seem fast and honest and I like that.

The lady who came was very nice. She did an ok job with cleaning, but she definatly missed stuff. When she dusted, she sprayed directly onto the furniture, which left some of the cleaner on the adjacent mirrors and picture frames. There was also a 2-3 inch ring of dust around all our glass figures. I had to go back and redo the dusting and clean some areas missed in the kitchen and bathroom. Normally after someone cleans, I don’t need to clean the shower and bathroom for a month. However, the cleaning only lasted about 2 weeks, which has not happened before or sense. I’ve had other people clean for 75% of the price and they did a better job. The company never followed up after the cleaning to see if I was happy with the service. I might use them again as a back up if I can get a better cleaner.

We have a lady named Risa who cleans our home. I can't rave enough about what a wonderful job she does. When she leaves here my home is very very clean. She does thorough vacuuming, dusting and general cleaning.

The company called back the next day after I left a Service Master request. Their email address has bounced several times. But, the women was up-front in telling me that she didn't think their crews, which are more geared towards regular cleaning, were right for this job. I appreciated her candor, even though I did not use them for the job. (I ended up buying a powerful 6HP shop vac from Sears, installed HEPA filters on it, used 4 3-foot extensions on the handle and a double-length flex hose, and did all the cleaning myself. The $150 for the vacuum and attachments was well worth it.)

They're in the Gresham area, but they came all the way out to Wilsonville without any problem at all. They're very flexible and have independent contractors. I had a very pleasant experience not only professionally but in terms of cleaning my house. I found their prices to be reasonable. They were courteous and prompt in returning my call.

Kim called me the second day after I contacted the company and spoke with the owner. I was impressed that the business has been operating for 30 years, and the owner knows her business inside and out. Kim was very pleasant and came to clean the house the second day after I talked with her (on Thursday). She was to arrive at 11:30 but it was 11:45 which was okay with me. Originally, we had thought it would take about 4 hours; however, she needed an additional hour to finish the job. This was understandable because the house was in need of a good cleaning, and she supplied it. She will be coming to clean the house every week in the future.

Raggedy Ann's Dustbusters was hired to clean a house after the owner had left for Europe. There was a slight miscommunication and their cleaner did not show up. However, Ann was very professional in the aftermath and fully refunded the money. It was from this follow-up that I would strongly recommend others to frequent this business, and in the future I would use them again.
