Portland Plumbing Plus

I contacted p3 through the coupon on their website and everything after went as well as clockwork. They gave me a timeline when I should expect a call from a field plumber, he called me promptly and gave me a ballpark estimate over the phone. The pro showed up precisely as promised and there were no surprises. My simple faucet installation job was completed in under the time that was estimated and the plumbing pro was polite and tidy about his work. I know that my job was relatively small, but before I did my search for a plumber was afraid that I might get ripped off for being a neophyte. Nope. They honored their coupon and charged a very reasonable amount for the value. I'm relieved and would definitely call them again. No more leaks!

I would like to go on record and say Scotty is awesome!!!!!! My washing machine died after 20+ years of service and I purchased one of those fancy high capacity machines. However, come delivery time, I found we had a leaky hot water faucet that I never noticed before, so the washer could not be installed until the faucet was repaired. So I called Portland Plumbing Plus very late in the afternoon on Thursday 8/22. I didn't expect anyone to come out until Monday, but Scotty called me back and said he would be there in 20 minutes - and he was. Scotty you rock! . He assessed the problem, told me what needed to be done, obtained my approval and got to work. Within approximately 1 1/2 hours he replaced broken parts and pipes and had us ready to go. Scotty was very professional and friendly. He even gave us a very rough estimate on replacing all of our old pipes. My husband and his friend seemed to keep Scotty entertained with their bantering back and forth about football. All in all, I was very impressed with Portland Plumbing Plus and of course, Scotty. I would highly recommend Portland Plumbing Plus to everyone. Ask for Scotty - he's really good. They were punctual, professional, very reasonable and actually impressed me -something that is not easy to do. When it comes time to replace my old pipes, there is no doubt that Portland Plumbing Plus will be doing the work.

I originally hired P3 to remove a broken garbage disposal in my father's kitchen and replace it with a new model I had specifically chosen and bought on my own. Within 24 hours, the newly installed disposal began leaking. I called Bob who arranged to come back out within the week. After struggling for more than 30 minutes to try and stop the leak, he finally conceded that he could not successfully install the new disposal and offered to just refund our money instead. After a lengthy discussion, we agreed to let him install a different disposal, one that he is familiar with and believes in. And voila, the 2nd disposal was installed in 15 minutes, no leaks! And it has worked smoothly ever since. Bob even honored an ongoing discount for this work which made the entire project more than fairly priced considering the fact he spent way more time than expected removing the old disposal, then installing and removing the 1st new disposal, and then having to install a 2nd new disposal. During this process, he also made several good suggestions about choosing and maintaining disposals. I must admit I wasn't sure how this was going to play out at first because things didn't start out well, but it certainly ended very well with Bob (owner of P3 Plumbing) earning my trust and respect with his honesty and integrity. The guy from Portland Plumbing Plus was friendly and he knew what he was doing. He did a fine job and there were no problems. He was a decent plumber and had a good price compared to others. He responsiveness was very good because he was here the same morning. I would use him again.

On 7-11-11 I called to see if I could get an estimate on some gas line work and was told that I needed to submit my information through the website and then I would receive a call back. Thought it was kind of strange since the website said I could get an estimate over the phone, but I went ahead and sent the info via the web. A few hours later, the same man called me back and apologized for taking so long to contact me. I told him that I needed a gas line moved for a new range and he said that the work could be done the next day...just couldn't give me an exact time. Said he needed to look at what other work needed to be done, emergencies, etc., and that I wouldn't have a plumber out until late morning...after 10:30. I asked him if he knew who would be coming out and he said he probably would. At this point, I was fine with our interactions. The next day, 7-12-11, I waited until 11:00 and called him to see when someone would be out. He said his first job was taking longer than expected and that I was next on his list. I said as long as I was next on his list for the day, that was fine. Well, at 5pm I called again and received voicemail where I left a message asking if he was still planning on coming out in the evening and to give me a call to let me know what was going on. He never returned my call. I was very disappointed because there were so many good reviews on citysearch.com. It was frustrating to stay home all day for a service that was never performed. If he had just called to reschedule, I would have understood.

My co-worker recommended me to call them because she had services done from other plumbing companies in the past and they are always way too overpriced. These guys are way more affordable. I called and spoke to Bob. He was very friendly and told me that he could come first thing in the morning. He came out to my house the very next morning right on time. It actually did not take him that long he had the clog fixed in about an hour. He cleaned up the mess too (the best he could) which was a pleasant surprise as I was expecting to spend the next couple of hours cleaning it up myself! I'm very satisfied with their services and their technician Bob was a really nice person to deal with. I will definitely be recommending these guys to my friends and family.
