They were the first company to respond when I needed a new handle set installed on my front door. Tina was very nice and asked me some questions. She asked if the new hardware would cover the existing holes, to which I (foolishly, because clearly I didn't know) said yes. They were able to send someone that afternoon, which was awesome. The tech, Josh, was also super nice, but pretty quickly showed me that the deadbolt didn't fit right and would leave part of the hole exposed. Obviously we didn't want that, so he said we needed to buy a different sized deadbolt. All of that was fine, but then he told me he'd be charging an $85 service fee for coming out. Perhaps that is their policy, but no one ever advised me of that upfront. I assumed if the work couldn't be done, then that would be it. An inconvenience for them, I admit, but that's what can happen when a project is agreed to without seeing it in person first. So we're out $85 and have nothing done. Tina offered to apply the $85 to any future charges if they came back out to install another one that fit. That's fine, but I just got another and installed it myself in 5 minutes. Pretty disappointing that I wasn't notified ahead of time that if the job couldn't be done, I would still get charged $85. Nice folks for sure, but won't be using them again.

These guys were super prompt and knew their stuff. They even taught us how to fix the problem in the future. Only complaint is that I didn’t get my 20% discount for membership because the tech knew nothing about their attachment to Angi.

We had Andrew from Portland Locksmith & Garage Doors come rekey and replace some locks on a new property we purchased in February. They were extremely communicative and so easy to work with. About a month later we were having issues with one of the locks replaced on a slider and they came out and fixed it the same day - no cost. Amazing and reliable company and we will absolutely use them again in the future for other needs!

Within At the very least 20 minutes of calling the business at first and setting up an appointment, the technician was at my front door. His professionalism and friendly demeanor outshined my grumpy negative attitude, regarding the situation, I put myself in. He explained everything technically that he had to do in order to open the door, the payment process was easy and again,!his arrival was very timely. Great- we had 7 deadbolts and 3 door handles to be replace- the tech explained I shouldn't put double deadbolts in living areas as it could void our insurance policy - we were able to move those locks to the garage he help with two of the doors we had trouble opening- all in all a great job and we're happy to have new locks on our new home!
