 + -1 morePortland Disposal & Recycling has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. Their trucks have hit into my fence multiple times, causing damage to a brand new fence that was installed because of previous, more severe damage their trucks did to the old one. I have tried to get Joe Gatto of Portland Disposal & Recycling to take any responsibility for the damage his trucks have done, and while initially he claimed I was lying and his drivers didn't do the damage, he eventually relented that it was likely that they did. He then agreed to pay for only some of the damage, (Which I have not yet been compensated for) and the rest would have to go through insurance. So far, their insurance has sat on the issue for over four months with no activity. Only threatening to hire a lawyer has gotten them to finally respond. Will update this review once this issue is resolved.
Description of Work: I needed them to take the trash from my bins without damaging my fence. And I expected them to compensate me for the fence damage afterwards, which they are currently fighting.

dumpster service
 + -1 moreTook several days to organize a pickup and the billing was irregular. We had to straighten it out with their office.
Description of Work: Brought a one time dumpster to pick up trash and junk.

 + -1 moreThe service is always punctual and on the right day. Be careful of leaving extra bags of trash or debris though it'll cost you an extra $5 or $2 respectively. At first they didn't charge me, so I didn't even know about it until I got hit with several extra charges all at once.
Description of Work: Month to month service of once a week garbage and recycling (40 gallon roll cart).
