Phan Hall & Associates

After carefully reading reviews on Zillow and other sites I decided to contact Phan Hall. It was a very difficult situation for me: I was a first time home buyer and I was out of state and unfamiliar with the Portland market. I'm very happy to say I couldn't have made a better choice. I lucked out by getting a team working on my behalf: Trong Do who enthusiastically devoted himself to showing me properties as soon as they were available, and even checked out homes for me when I was out of state, and the very experienced Scott Hall who wrote all the sales contracts and handled all negotiations. When I walked away from a sales contract due to an inspection report that made me uneasy, Trong and Scott couldn't have been more understanding and immediately focused on finding me the right property. Due to lack of inventory in my price range finding a home in Portland was very difficult and properties were receiving multiple offers over list price within 24 hours of becoming available. When a home I really liked finally became listed in the evening Trong advised me that I see it right away and he met me at the property around 8 pm. Scott drafted an offer for me right away. I was outbid the next day, but Scott knew I wanted this home so he kept pressuring the seller's agent and I was able to up my offer and win the home. On top of that Scott was able to negotiate an even lower sale price after inspection. I really believe if it wasn't for Trong's advice to move fast and being there when I needed him and Scott's skill at closing and negotiation I wouldn't have closed on this home, my first home, that I'm happy to be living in today. Trong even helped me find a home insurance broker when I asked him for advice. Trong and Scott turned a very stressful process into a pleasure and I'm very happy to add my review to all the others left by people they helped. I thoroughly recommend Phan Hall, especially Trong and Scott, and will use them again if I move.
