Excellent. Great communication from start to finish. The staff at Pete's made sure we were clear on process, safety considerations and expected outcomes, which was great. On the day of, Pete's guy was considerate, efficient and kept things neat and clean. The process was effective and continues to be over 1 year after application. Will work with Pete's every time.

We have used Pete's Pest Control since "2008" on a few of our Portland homes. We were happy and pleased with the service initially. Over the years their service has gone downhill and not the quality service that it once was. Ronda (Pete's wife) Director of Operations answering the phone has been quite short and rude the last couple of years, it's almost like she's overwhelmed, overworked and just flat stressed out. Take note of any less than perfect review on any and all platforms that Pete always turns any negativity on his part on the customer instead of accepting any wrongdoing whatsoever. Pete in these last few years does not seem to be too involved in his business like he once was and when I have spoken with him he's short, moody, rude, and abrasive. When it comes to pest control we all have choices and I certainly would not recommend Pete's Pest Control. BEWARE!

Professional, clean and effective. Cost is a little higher but 100% effective with minimum disruption and peace of mind regarding the chemicals used. Completely destroyed the ant infestation. Will use again if they come back next year. Thanks Pete's!

Everything went well. I called on a Monday and they were able to come out on the next Thursday to take care of the problem. They offered a senior discount and added that, should the wasps return within the next 6 months, they would come back to spray at no charge.

I have used him several times. He was fabulous and gave great advice. He was on time and did great work. He never overcharged me. I loved using him.

I was impressed with the time that Pete took to explain possible causes and solutions to my problem. Although Pete referred me to a provider that could deal with my issues he took the time to educate me on pest causes and solutions. I would call them next time I have a pest problem!

He arrived game me more info that I was ready for, explained how his product worked. Then I showed him were the problem was and he explained where else he should get and did it. Great Job

I think overall very good customer service and very professional. They do a quick turn around in service.

Completely got rid of all the ants in one trip - which all of the other companies said were not possible. All other companies wanted to sign me up for a monthly maintenance fee.

This is my second time using him. Both times he has been very punctual,very professional, explained what he will do, quickly gets it done, and then reviews what he put down after he's done. This is one person I call when I have a pest problem. And I would recommend to anyone looking for this type of service to put him at the top of the list!

Pete's was very responsive from the time of initial contact, easy to schedule an appointment, lots of information provided on how to prepare for the service. We just had it done today, so will see the results (as in absence of ants) but they will repeat the service at no charge if the ants come back in 30 days (and for a two months after that). I would definitely recommend them for professional, timely, friendly service.

When I called I spoke to Heather who told me she would have to call me back because she didn't believe they serviced SW Washington. She was very prompt in calling me back but did inform me that they don't service SW Washington. I'm still trying to figure out why they advertise for SW Washington and then tell potential customers they won't service their homes. My house is 10 minutes from their standard Portland, OR service area. When I told Heather I felt misled and that I would be writing a review on Angie's List she just said, "Ok, have a nice day." I can't say anything regarding their actual service but false advertising is a bad sign to me. I would not recommend them.

We would highly recommend their service. They charge by square footage. They were very responsive and persistent. Our neighbor highly recommended them and we choose them because they used chemicals that were safe which better for us because we have a dog.

Overall, he did a good job as far as I can tell.

Getting the estimate was very fast and detailed. The price was competitive. He showed up right on time and explained the service. He found the nest of carpenter ants. The entire service took about one hour. He fully explained what to expect in the coming works and guaranteed his work for a full year. It was a pleasant, no hassle experience and I would highly recommend Pete's to anyone looking for pest control services.

It was fantastic. They were very professional. Everything was described in full detail. He guaranteed 3 months but it has been 9 months now and no problems. It was extremely effective.

I agreed to have him do the work, and he came out and gave a detailed description of what I should expect, when I should see ants again, dos and don'ts, and quickly and efficiently treated the problem. The ants that were in egg form during treatment hatched and came out exactly when he said they would, then disappeared again right on schedule. Pete clearly loves helping take care of problems, is reliable, efficient, and unbelievably knowledgeable. I couldn't recommend him enough.

We've had an ant problem in our house, and outside too, for a long time. After identifying the ants as Odorous House Ants, we attempted to get rid of them ourselves. Various baits (sugar, protein, etc) that were supposed to be professional strength didn't work. Some ants died but overall, no results. With each month, the ants seem to be becoming more and more numerous, and appearing everywhere. These ants smelled so awful and there was no getting away from them! We finally contacted Pete's Pest Control. Pete's answered our questions and gave what seemed to be a reasonable estimate then showed up, on time, to spray outside and inside. Within a day there was a reduction in ants. Within a few weeks there were only stragglers... but though clearly sickly, and repeatedly dying for the most part, the stragglers began to slowly grow in numbers. Since Pete's offered a guarantee, we contacted him again and he came out for free 40 days later to re-spray where the ants were appearing. Again, the ants mostly went away, but those resilient buggers kept sticking around indoors. After another 45 or so days and a minor ant invasion in the kitchen, we contacted Pete's again, fully expecting to pay the normal fee. He offered to spray the problem areas for free even though we were no longer in the guarantee timeframe! What awesome customer service. So that was earlier today, and the ants are dead or in hiding. We hope they stay gone, but even the reduction is a great relief. It was a massive infestation and according to my research these types of ants are terribly difficult to eliminate. It's great to know we've got Pete's on our side to battle these pests. Bonus: he's a super nice guy too. Highly recommended.

It went well over all. Man did as he said he would. He sprayed the house inside and out.

I had carpenter ants in my wall that I could hear at night. when I called Pete, he made me feel calmer. He told me that they take a long time to do damage (years). He explained everything he was gong to do and use and recommended that I call around for toher estimates. When he came to my house (and was right on time), he again explained everything and showed me where they were coming from outside of my house. He told me it may take a few days to not hear them anymore, but immediatley it worked. While he was there, he also removed 2 hornet nests for me, free of charge. I would efinitely recommend Pete to anyone that has pest issues.

He was super knowledgeable and helpful. And did not fleece me like others pest companies I called were going to! He asked a fair price and told me the truth, there was no infestation. He advised to be certain to have him come a second time at the same low price. Then he offered to spray the downstairs unit (it was the upstairs unit in a duplex with the potential problem) for free! Just very helpful and low price for peace of mind.

He does an excellent job. We've had no problems since we used him. Always here right on the button, does his job, and gets out. I totally satisfied with him.

Pete did a great job working with us. In the past we have used a larger extermination company, but we'll never go back to them. We have had a sugar ant problem in our kitchen and master bath when the weather turns warm. Pete sprayed in the relevant areas on the interior of our house and also the exterior of our home. Pete was very honest and straightforward about the process and results. He guaranteed his work and said that he would come back if the ants returned--after we gave it three weeks to kick in. Pete is extremely knowledgeable about the products he uses and how they work. He is an great professional and we'll gladly turn to him for any future pest control needs.
