It was their glowing online reviews that first led us to PDX Green Team, and we were not disappointed. We ended up working with them to buy an FSBO house, and while that brought with it some added complications, they were unfazed and even cheerful throughout the process. Hilary and Darcie are great realtors individually -- the fact that they work as a team is the icing on the cake. We found them to be super responsive, flexible and always professional. As out-of-town buyers, they served as a tremendous resource in helping us to narrow in on prospective neighborhoods and homes. And with their help, our closing couldn't have gone more smoothly. Always one step ahead, they served as master project managers, making sure that everyone on all sides of the transaction (us, the seller, the title company, etc) knew what was expected from them and when. In short, I recommend them without hesitation.

Hilary and Darcie were incredible. They listened to our goals and our preferences and wish list, and they were extremely helpful in setting up our search strategy with their deep understanding of the Portland market, neighborhoods, and valuations. Hilary and Darcy also did a great job seamlessly managing the whole process, from viewings through closing. They made it feel thorough, yet efficient, and very positive for us and for the sellers, too, with their professionalism and authenticity. We were conducting our search from overseas, which added to the challenge of finding a home in an extremely dry market. Yet, Hilary made the process both easy and fun. She is extremely accessible and was in constant communication with us. Hilary patiently vetted each and every home we showed an interest in, in spite of the wide range we were looking at. To accommodate our situation, she took extensive videos of the homes and these videos made us feel like we were on the ground, looking at the homes first hand. Once we found our home, she deftly handled the negotiations and inspection process - delicately working directly with the owner of the home. We were ecstatic to close just three days after landing in Portland! Not only did they help us through every stage of the home buying process, they've also been a great support after the sale - reaching out to the previous owner to identify paint colors and helping us find reputable contractors to work with. I do not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family!

My wife and I are do it yourself types, so when we first decided to buy a house, I did not really see much advantage to having a buyer's agent. Boy was I wrong!! Having Hilary Bourassa of the PDX Green Team as our buyer's agent made things so much easier and I can't imagine that this would have come to a successful conclusion, and we would be enjoying our newly purchased home, without her. Buying our house has been a long journey, it was a short sale and believe me, there is nothing and quot;shortand quot; about the short sale process. Its pretty hard to fully express in a review that gratitude that I and my wife feel toward Hilary. Hilary is very patient, kind, honest, knowledgable, and always helpful. She was there for us every step of the way, from reading the contract, negotiating the price, and guiding us through the closing. With Hilary, I felt like we really had someone on our side and watching our back. Whenever Hilary had a day off, the other member of the PDX Green Team, Darcie Alexander was there to answer our questions and pickup where Hilary left off without skipping a beat. We found Darcie and Hilary through their great reviews online and sent them a inquiry about the market for similar houses in the neighborhood. They responded immediately (they are incredibly responsive) and went above and beyond providing information about the market and sales of comparable homes. We were in a somewhat unusual situation, where were didn't need to sell but were willing to as long as we at least broke even. We really commend them for being so forthright; they explained that while sales were strong and prices were going up, some appraisals were coming in below the agreed-upon selling price, causing problems for buyers and sellers. They wanted us to know that before getting into anything, and we decided to wait until we knew more about the renters' plans. A couple of months later the renters moved out and we recontacted Darcie and Hilary to see if anything had changed. Fortunately for us, the market was still going in a positive direction and the appraisal question was becoming less of an issue. They sent us new information about the market and comparable sales, and we set up a time to meet and walk through the house. With their help we were able to get the house on the market within a couple of weeks and had an offer after three days. They do a great job of setting up the house with signs noting different features to make it easy for buyers to remember what's unique about one of the many houses they'll see. They were very helpful in negotiating fair terms to the sales contract, and when the buyers wanted to prolong negotiations they discussed it with us honestly and supported our decision to say no, recognizing that we risked having to put the house back on the market (we didn't, as it turned out).Darcie and Hilary are both very personable, easy to work with, and obviously committed to being honest and ethical with their clients and in their work.

While I mostly worked with her business partner Hilary, Darcie was still there for us to fill in.
