Went amazingly well, was very responsive and able to do the work only a few days after contacting him. Very knowledgeable showed up on time and completed quickly. Most other electricians I called were booked up way in the distance and had quoted me on the phone much more than I paid. My parents have used him many times in the past and were always happy with his work, which is why I contacted him myself.

We ended up buying the fixtures ourselves, saving money and confusion. It took a little while to get the scheduling done, but he showed up on the right day and performed the work in the time he estimated. We did add some scope to the job and he was very cooperative in getting that done as well. We are happy with the final product.

After a 6 month remodel, we still needed to upgrade our electrical box. The original contractor did not come through for us. We contacted Del Owen through a neighborhood newsletter. He responded promptly, arrived on time, completed the work as promised in a short time, arranged for inspection that we passed. He was respectful of our property, our privacy, and our pet. He brought his own tools and cleaned up after each work session, and was polite. After the bad experience with the overall remodel it was a joy to work with this professional. He explained each thing he did , important to my husband. A great experience.

We had some painting work done in our 1926 farm house and when the painters took the old light fixture down to replace it with a new one, nothing worked anymore. After "messing" with the problem for a few hours, the painters decided that there must be major electrical problems to the old house and that this was now a fire hazard and that they did not want to touch anything anymore! I called several electricians from Angie's list and chose Del Owen, from Owen's West Electric, because he seemed to be very familiar with old homes and how electrical systems were done back then. He was right on time - actually earlier than the set appointment and waited for me! After a good hour of investigative work, he was able to figure out what the painters had messed up and repaired the site. He also installed a new light fixture in the living room and put an outlet on bare electrical wires left out by the painters! He was extremely nice and knowledgeable! I highly recommend Del Ownen.

Del and a partner were prompt and took the time to determine the best way to install the lighting. Since the lights were being installed into the ceiling of a first floor room in a two story house, the new cable had to be run under some of the joist. This meant that there was going to be some damage to the Sheetrock in the ceiling. Del was clear in explaining that he does not do Sheetrock repair and has given us the name of someone that does. They minimized the amount of cutting in the Sheetrock by careful planning. The lights look and work great. A professional, courteous and careful job.

He was on time and very easy to work with. I would highly recommend him! His prices beat out all the competitors.

Mr. West did not show up at the original appointed time. He tried to phone me, but had lost my phone number. When we did make contact, he was apologetic and came promptly to a second appointment. He worked hard, was pleasant and the price was reasonable.

Dell went out to do the quote the same day he called me. He was very prompt and very polite. He did the job the very next day. We would hire him again. He was great!

I CALLED A FEW OTHER PLUMBERS, BUT THEY WERE ALL TOO BUSY TO HELP WITHIN THE TIME I NEEDED SERVICE. MR. OWEN WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT SHOWED A REAL DESIRE TO HELP ME OUT. HE SAID HE COULD DO THE WORK ON A SATURDAY MORNING. HE CALLED TO CONFIRM THE APPOINTMENT, AND HE SHOWED UP RIGHT ON TIME. HE DID A GREAT JOB, AND WAS QUITE REASONABLE FOR HIS SERVICE.

THE OWNER CAME OUT AND GAVE US AN ESTIMATE AND THEN PERFORMED THE JOB EXACTLY HOW HE SAID HE WOULD AND THE CHARGE WAS THE SAME AS IN THE ESTIMATE. WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE JOB DONE.
