OGREN ENGINEERING

Engineer reviewed drawings and agreed to terms and scope of work to be performed. He also indicated a completion date of roughly one week from consultation. Engineer requested some final pieces of information and dimensions which were promptly provided to him. Engineer did not follow up about final pieces of information and dimensions related to the job. I requested follow up to assure he had all of the information required to perform agreed services. Engineer did not return phone calls either about the progress of the agreed work or additional specifics related to additional scope of work I was interested in having him perform. I asked to engineer in phone message to please indicate if he was no longer interested in performing agreed work so that I could find other engineering services as quickly as possible. Engineer never returned phone calls. I now view him as totally unprofessional and as responsible for wasting two week of my time during a very time sensitive remodel process. I would warn anyone away from using his services.

I worked directly with Scott Ogren, who brought his professional experience to the project, making me aware of current building codes and structural concerns. I found him to be involved, accessible, and personable. I appreciated Scott?s straight-shooter approach, providing relevant information to the project at hand. In the big picture, my project went smoothly and I now enjoy entertaining on my new deck. My experience with Ogren Engineering was positive and I would use them again in the future.

We had several problems in working with our General Contractor, which, in turn, made Ogren's work more difficult. They were both very understanding and accomodating. It was a pleasure to have an opinion and work you could trust.

Scott did a good job overall. Not cheap, a bit slow on responding but final product was good.
