Northwest Spa Maintenance

We managed to get them over here once and couldn't get them to return. They are a little overwhelmed. There's a serious lack of supply for the demand for services like that around here. I wouldn't say they were bad, as in it being their fault, but they were someone that was unresponsive. With everyone trying to de-winterize their pools and get them ready for the summer, it's a tough time for them. We weren't even going to open the pool yet, but they wanted to come have a look to see if they wanted us to become a weekly customer. So they came over and they just cleaned the leaves off the top and had a look around, and we said we wanted them to be our people, and they never came back. I suppose I would use them again if they'd show up. Once you get over the hump as far as spring goes I can take care of things myself usually. It's not any cheaper or any more than anyone else.

My partner noticed that the water was cold when he went to add chemicals. I called Oregon Hot Tub Repair, as that is what kind of spa we have and for 2 calls they kept telling me to "burp" the tub, and gave me a laundry list of things to do in order to do that. I would call back to ensure that we were doing the right things and they never answered. So, I called Taylor/NW Spa Maintenance. He said he could be out the very next day! What a relief! He was GREAT!! He only spent something like 15-20 minutes and he diagnosed the problem immediately. A mother board. The Spa is 11 years old and I have not had a single problem with it. Taylor showed me the mother board and explained how that could happen: age/condensation. He will order another one and have it installed by the first of the week. He said the mother boards run about $350. Was very thankful he came out so quickly....the next day and that he was done in about 20 minutes. I will definitely hire him from now on for all my Hot Tub maintenance!

very thorough job of cleaning. the jets were also fixed. It was amazing that they all work again when previous spa companies told us they needed to be replace, only to then find out the jets are no longer sold given the age of our spa. However, all they needed were to be cleaned and Northwest Spa Maintenance went the extra mile to do the cleaning. Thank you!

They were pretty good. He came out and did what he needed to do and did a couple extra things. It was A-1 service. The guy has been in business for a long time. It took about an hour or so.

They were not familiar with my unit and when they did do the fix they disconnected a safety that prevents you from getting shock. That’s why I’m giving them a C. They came out within a week so that was quick. The repair man that they send out needed to have a better understanding of basic hot tub wiring. It took less than 60 minutes.

The tech came earlier than I had asked for, but he got the hot tub drained, cleaned, and balanced in a short period of time. He got everything cleaned up when he was done.

It was not very good. I am not happy with them. Taylor came out to the house, he supposedly fixed the problem, the problem is not fixed, now new problems have emerged, and he is not willing to take care of the old problem, and I am just at my wits end. I don't know what to do with my spa. I had used him twice before, but when my spa had a problem, all hell broke lose. I had to pay $300 for a new circuit breaker which seemed awfully expensive, that was fixed, and now I still don't have power to it, and now my circuit board is fried, and I can't get any heat at all. I don't know if that was a result of the circuit breaker breaking, but he is saying it is not. I won't go back to him, and he is not willing to own up. I started having problems with the hot tub shortly after he serviced it the second time.

I had to reach out to contact them initially. It was difficult to get a time scheduled because they would take a long time to respond to any kind of inquiry or question or they didn't respond at all until I sent them another request. Instead of it being something easy where I could just get it taken care of, it became a bigger project than it was worth to get a hot tub cleaned.

I was never contacted. My suggested schedule dates were October 5, 7 or 9th. No word. My Visa was charged for this service - I'm assuming you will credit my card. Thanks.

Went great. Taylor showed up when he was supposed to. Got right to work. Sent me a follow up email regarding filters. Will/Would have him again. I liked his monthly spa checking that he can do and will possibly get that.

They did an incredible job. Our hot tub has never looked better. Highly recommended. The guy who did the work was on time, nice, and took his time. Well worth the cost.

Total maintenance which included draining the tub, inspecting all operational components, cleaning all components, tightening of components that were loose, scrubbing and sanitizing the tub prior to refilling. When finish I was instructed on the best way to continue the maintenance in order to have a well run hot tub. Also, suggested what to use in keeping the water and tub clean...surprise, it did not include buying expensive chemicals. I was also surprised that I wasn't told to spend more money on potential problems but that everything was fine and that I should continue a once a year preventative maintenance. I'm VERY please with their service.

Garrett Scott, Lead Tech, came out exactly on time and serviced the spa. It had not been used or serviced for about 6 months and needed a thorough cleaning which it got. Garrett used our spa chemicals per my request, instead of what they usually use. I mentioned to him to leave the temp low (young grandkids were going to use it soon). He did as I requested but also let me know the water and chemicals work better at the higher temp. I like that he takes the time to explain what he is doing, why and let me know how best to use it. It took a few hours much less than it takes us when we try to do it. We will be using them again, and again!

The $274 included a new plug replacing a rusted plug. He drained, cleaned, put in new plug, and balanced the chemicals. When I went to put in chemicals a few weeks later, the tub was empty. I called and they sent someone out to check for any leaks. He said a few connections had loosened up causing the tub to drain. He tightened up all connections, refilled the tub, balanced the chemicals and did not charge for visit.

Taylor and Garrett were awesome! Pleasant, professional, easy-going. Fixed the problem, made sure everything was working properly, handled all questions!

Excellent communication, scheduling and performance. Will use again when needed!

Lead tech Garrett was fantastic. He showed up early, was very professional, quickly diagnosed the leak in our spa, and even had the spare part in the van! Our spa was sparkling clean and working smoothly by the end of the visit. My husband was thrilled. Thank you.

The first time NW Spa Maintenance came he discovered the plug to the tub had gone bad, and he had to order a new plug. When he came out today He arrived on time, got the plug replaced, and got to work on cleaning and testing the hot tub. He was very thorough and was refilling the tub in no time. The whole job took a few hours and the hot tub was running and looked great when he left. He made sure everything was put back the way he found it and said the tub would be warm in 1-2 days.

Came when I needed them to, prompt, professional and courteous! I would definitely hire them again!

The pool was filthy and green with algae, and Taylor did the maintenance and got the pool up and running. We've never had a pool before, and this one was really let go. Taylor did a great job, and now we've got our pool is working. I would highly recommend this company.

Garrett showed up on time and went right to work. He drained the tub, vacuumed out the jet fixtures and refilled and cleaned the tub. Next he cleaned all the surfaces of the cover and placed it on the tub. He was very communicable about the process as he worked. I would be glad to recommend this vendor to others.

The Service Tech arrived on time! He was ready to go and went right to work. The process was quick and he was very polite. He asked where I wanted to water to be drained to, and I thought that was good rather than just pouring away. The longest wait was the fill, but that is normal for a large tub. The water looked good and everything worked well on start up.

I purchased the package on April 4 and never heard from the company. I tried many times to contact them and their mail box was full so I couldn't leave a message. Finally was able to leave a message in mid May but no response. After I left a very bad review on Angie's List, I heard from the owner, who had apparently been ill, and he sent someone out immediately. The service person that was sent out was very good and helpful but had no extra chemicals on had to give us. I asked that they send an estimate about on going spa care and I have not heard anything again!

Garrett is a very positive person, cheerful, knowledgeable, and thorough. I would definitely recommend him for spa maintenance.

Taylor called at 0930, he was running a little late. He showed up around 1015. He did a good job. Did everything he posted on Angie's list. He was very cordial and professional. I would use him again.
