Mutually agreed and desired upon, we had a slow start with a couple of delays. I was thankful for this and did not have a firm start-date requirement other than to have the house painted before rains begin. Darren, the owner, was great at providing advice on materials which I provided. I am a DIYer and had much structural prep work to do prior to the Ninjas coming to scrape the 7 layers of old paint off. There was no way the shingles will ever look new, they really need to be replaced after 70 years of paint jobs. But Darren's confidence that they could work with the material (because it is straight and free of rot) and have the paint last for 7-10 years was a great boost. I much prefer a $3-4k paint job today over $15k to re-side. They scraped old paint for days and kept the place pretty tidy. While it looked like the house had been through a tornado by the time the scraping was complete, I didn't see air bubbles under residual old paint. They put a coat of peel-bond primer over the whole house. This was a slow process because peel-bond is thick like Elmer's School Glue and has to be sprayed on then rolled over with a tiny roller. Two coats of paint including trim colors. These guys did a fine job, kept the place clean, good conversations, worked at a nice pace, were communicative all along the way. And most important, I trusted them with and in my home. No haggle, no hassle. The contract price was nice and agreed upon prior to work began.

Two day process, Day 1 the repair of the finish on the ceiling to match the existing brocade. Also removed small chip of material to match the paint. Day 2 finished repair and painted to match existing ceiling color. Color match was great so the entire ceiling did not need repainting.
