Jennifer, Kristina and the entire team are amazing - a first class act. It's really true - once you start with one area you just want to keep going. I've worked with Team Nifelle on two different projects - one being a complete remodel of a second home and then redoing and freshening up areas in a home we built 18 years ago. Her office staff and designers on her team are top notch. I can say that I look forward to each time a meeting is scheduled - lots of creative energy flows. And results are fantastic. Jennifer and Kristina have patiently worked with me through lots of questions and many doubts - and it has all turned out beautifully. I first met Jennifer when she decorated my sister's home in Newberg. Jennifer did such a great job with my sister's house that I knew I had to call her when I bought my own home! Jennifer is a delight to work with, and I am so grateful for her impeccable design style, her flexibility in meeting my unique design needs (including a strict budget), and her help in turning my new house into a "real" home.

I have worked with Jennifer on multiple home decor projects at our last house and did not hesitate to call her again. Going from a more traditional style four square home to the "bungalow" life, Jennifer's suggestions for dining furniture and lighting were spot on. She is an expert on function and styles of various window coverings and was very thoughtful about which rooms could use more light versus privacy. Her lovely office staff was super speedy in scheduling our install as well!

We are beyond pleased with the work done for us by Nifelle Design. I have worked with other designers in the past, and the results were really not that great. In contrast, Jennifer and Kristina are true professionals. They helped us re-design our family room space, which involved removing our fireplace and mantel, and building a new fireplace and mantel on a smaller scale so that we could mount a TV on the wall above. They helped us discover our own sense of style, and listened carefully to us regarding how we wanted to use the space. The results are stunning; the room has twice the seating room now, the fabrics are rich and carefully coordinated, and the furniture was selected with comfort in mind. Jennifer selected accessories not only by finding new ones, but also by looking at things we already owned. In addition, she helped us find photographs that had meaning for us, and had them framed to become a part of the design. Nifelle Design made the details of the project easy. Every single person involved (with the construction of the new fireplace, with hanging new lighting and artwork, and with delivery of furniture), was on time, respectful of our property, and a joy to work with. Billing was quite reasonable and straightforward. No detail is too small to escape their attention--they discovered a missing screw on one of our new counter stools in the kitchen, and made sure we were provided with one! I have intentionally left out the cost of service. One of the advantages of working with Nifelle Design is that they allowed us to choose pieces from a variety of options at all price points, so the entire cost of what was selected for us was based on how much we were willing to spend. I will be recommending Nifelle Design to all of my friends, and I feel truly fortunate to have found them. We are delighted with everything they have done for us.

Jennifer of Nifelle Design previously decorated our Portland home and Oregon beach house, and is now working with us on a custom home in Central Oregon. We keep returning to Jennifer because she is so talented, has an amazing eye for design, and is such an enjoyable person to work with. Jennifer and her assistant came to our home to help us with redecorating our den. She took our ideas about paint and carpet and found samples for furniture and curtains to compliment our color scheme. We went to her lovely home to see the sample selection and make choices that she had preselected. Jennifer is a delight to work with and has an easy-going personality. Her company provides an excellent document with your choices clearly outlined with prices. I appreciate the fact that when I wanted to go in one direction she did a nice job of steering me in another direction that would work better for our room. She has excellent resources for painters, upholsters, curtain hangers etc. Whenever we had a problem, she was quick to respond by phone. Using Jennifer is a bit expensive, but she represents hi-end suppliers. I thoroughly recommend her.

Hiring Jennifer Leonard was one of the best decisions we ever made! I had a solid idea of what I wanted because there wasn?t an interior magazine or website I hadn?t thoroughly scoured. However, knowing what you want and being able to pull it together in a cohesive story while adding personal touches and ensuring furniture scale and colors are perfect is not for your average layperson! That ability is second nature to Jennifer and she frequently has options not available from a retailer. We ordered many custom furniture pieces and carpets and I really appreciate that she stood by our choices and worked with vendors to ensure we were thoroughly happy with everything placed in our home. Jennifer is a great designer because she has impeccable taste and style, she is a pleasure to be around because she is warm, kind and fun! We love our house and we love Jennifer!! Jennifer is very busy and has a crazy schedule. She often is running late, however she's terrific about providing an up-to-date eta for herself and other service providers.

Six months after our wedding my husband and I purchased our first home together. Our eclectic Southwest hills home was built in 1890 with a modern kitchen addition and renovation of the main floor family space. As newlyweds, we quickly realized that blending our furniture and individual styles was going to be a challenge. We recognized the need for a third party to blend our aesthetics and help create an overall design flow to the house. After interviewing a designer who was not interested in working with us in a collaborative way I grew weary of the idea entirely. I eventually found Nifelle design through their rave reviews on Angie?s list. At the time of our initial meeting I was four months pregnant and eager to have a finished home to bring our son home to. After meeting with Jennifer I immediately felt comfortable with her aesthetic and approach. I wanted an acquired look and feel but it needed to be brought together quickly. With Jennifer?s guidance our home is filled with custom window coverings, hand knotted rugs, incredible art and a beautiful collection of refurbished antiques mixed with new upholstery pieces. Sentimental family pieces were incorporated into the design as well. My mother?s Chinese silk rug became the inspiration piece for the guest room and several chairs have been thoughtfully reupholstered and given a second lease on life. It was important to me to be involved in every decision of the process, so Jennifer and I worked closely together to first draft up a plan and then begin filling in the space. She thoughtfully considered my requests, and brought me options at different price points for each room. Knowing that my husband has more modern tastes than I, Jennifer made suggestions for modern light fixtures and touches in several rooms to balance our styles. Each room is unique in design while still fitting into the greater picture of the house. My absolute favorite room is my son?s nursery. It is, in my opinion completely magazine worthy! Jennifer worked with a relentless enthusiasm and professionalism that made it a real joy to have her around. She had a broad set of talents that make her the perfect companion to an antique store or art gallery. Nifelle Design is my one stop shop for all our design needs. Jennifer replenishes my orchids as needed and has been known to plant new flowers in the outside planters leaving my husband throughly confused as he know I have never planted a thing in my life. During the Holidays I asked Jennifer if she would decorate both the exterior and interior of our home. Our home (and especially our tree) was a showpiece. Our home is beautiful and a joy to come home to. Our friends and family marvel at how beautiful it turned out, and at how functional and useable our furniture is. It has been a wonderful experience working with Jennifer and her team, and I cant imagine our house being as perfect without her.

Jennifer helped us find a new color to revamp the look of our old dining set and give it a new look. I thought I knew what I wanted but was having a terrible time finding something on my own. Jennifer worked so patiently with me to find the perfect combination of prints and colors. I could not have done it without her.

We found Jennifer Leonard of Nifelle Design on Angie?s List in 2011. We originally only needed help with transforming our bonus room into a study for our children that could also double as an extra bedroom when family and guests come to visit. We were so incredibly happy with how she transformed our misused bonus room (that honestly have become a dumping room for unwanted toys and misc. items) into a functional and calming study space for our 2 children that we decided to have Jennifer help us with refreshing the rest of our home. I was also surprised at how long it could take to get fabric. We started the process in late November 2011 and finished up in April 2012; most of that time was spent waiting for the fabric from overseas. Ken, the actual curtain installer, was great. Always on time, very professional and really cared about how everything looked and worked.

Our condo is now much more comfortable and has a lot more eye appeal.

I contacted Jennifer to consult on our home exterior colors because she had a great reputation in Angie's List, I'm partially colorblind, and my wife was having a difficult time deciding what color was right for our home and would go with our charcoal roof color. (I really didn't want to repeat the mistake I made 15 years ago when i picked an awful bland taupe.) We already had a painter contracted and our paint date was coming up soon. Jennifer accommodated our crazy schedule and found a time to meet us at our house. She listened to our color likes and dislikes and, while standing in our driveway with color samples in hand, proposed 3 beautiful color pallets for our house, trim, door, and deck stain. Our painter applied the samples to the house and weighed and suggested we darken the trim a bit. We contacted Jennifer about this via email and she suggested a slightly darker trim color to go with the sage green body color we had chosen. Jennifer reduced the millions of available colors to 3 very nice choices for us and even accommodated a trim color adjustment for no additional charge. She was a pleasure to work with and we're very happy with the results.

Jennifer was crackerjack in every way. She has a perfect eye for interior design and a knack for finding things I'd like and bringing it all together with finesse. She was always right on top of things, returning phone calls and emails promptly and keeping everything moving along during what was otherwise a stressful renovation. She was unfailingly cheerful and upbeat and just a joy to work with. I love the way everything turned out and have gotten so many compliments on the curtains and fabrics. I highly recommend her.

I contacted Jennifer to get her opinion on how to finish the walls in a powder room and in a master bedroom (the house is newly constructed). We talked on the phone prior to her visiting my home regarding my style, her design philosophy, and what I was hoping to accomplish in each room. Wallpaper was the finish we agreed upon, and she brought lots of examples to my home in a multitude of price ranges. Jennifer has a fantastic eye - we quickly decided on a wallpaper to use in each room. We ordered the papers, and she was then able to recommend an installer to hang the papers. Both rooms are now finished. I LOVE the papers we selected. I'm definitely planning to contact Jennifer in the future when I'm ready to finish and style other rooms in my home.

Right away, she identified the right color for our room. I originally thought I wanted a different color, but she graciously steered me away from it and I am so glad I let her guide me. She was totally right. We LOVE the color now. We love everything she chose for us. She quickly identified and worked with our style, proposed items in our budget and was patient with us as we made our decisions. I will definitely use her again in the future -- especially if we ever have a bigger budget for decorating. She has very refined and beautiful taste. My only complaint is that since her business is booming, she is busy. She was a bit late for our first appointment, had to reschedule a few others and overlooked a few details that I had to research myself. Overall though, I was VERY pleased with her work. I would highly recommend her!

We found Jennifer Leonard on Angies List in the fall of 2009. After selling our home of 30 years, we were ready for a change, still had pieces we loved and wanted to incorporate them into our new home. Jennifer's skilled professionalism plus her wonderful, easy personality was perfect. She listened to what we wanted, didn't overwhelm us with paint colors, lighting catalogs and furniture materials, rather, she researched what we had expressed our vision was, brought in samples, ideas and a talent to introduce new looks that would blend well with what we were after. She transformed out interior into a beautiful home. Her attention to detail was always in focus, a true professional who loves what she does, cares for her clients. We were thrilled that as we moved from the interior to the exterior Jennifer's nurseryman's license allowed us to buy both planters and plant material at very reasonable prices. Lastly, Jennifer is a joy, her talents are clearly evident, and she as a person is very special. I would and have recommended her to friends. As we go into the Fall of 2010 Jennifer is finishing up the house, and made it a wonderful home for us.

We worked with Jennifer several years ago for Hunter Douglas window coverings as well as a wool rug runner for our front staircase. We had such a lovely experience working with her that we knew that she should facilitate our remodel/redecorating. Obviously, from our testimonial above, she got the job done!!!

We have a 'good' space, but Jennifer's expertise helped to make it a 'great' space. She did an excellent job of assessing our needs and then suggesting design elements that helped to pull everything together. She has a great eye for detail, and worked very hard to find just the right colors, accessories, and use of space. She was careful to suggest several options at each point - allowing us to feel that we were a part of the project - and yet always gently helping us to move to the best choice for our location. We really liked the fact that she was able to listen to our ideas, and yet, very professionally able to suggest alternatives when what we suggested wasn't going to be the best option. We feel that we got a great value. Jennifer is very professional. She is a delight to work with. It was an excellent experience.

I started working with Jennifer in November 2008. She responded same day to my first call and set up first meeting within a week. She spent a lot of time with me and at my house before drawing up a complete design proposal for all rooms mentioned above. Some of the things I had done that Jennifer coordinated: reupholstered dining room chairs and piano bench, framed large photo and 7 pieces of artwork, window treatments for living, dining, and entry, paint color selection, advice on granite countertop, tile backsplash, flooring, color for new kitchen island, and selection/installation of new lighting fictures. She also helped with furniture arrangement. Work ended in 6/09 when I ran out of money! If I could afford all the changes she suggested I would make them.

Jennifer helped us zero in on what we wanted to do. She was very patient (we had no idea what we were doing) and had tons of ideas for furniture, fabric and colors. We had no trouble scheduling time together and the painter and wallpaper installer she recommended were both excellent. The entire project went very smoothly and was much easier than I thought it would be. We were extremely satisfied with the entire experience and very pleased with the way our house turned out. We will definitely want to use Jennifer again when we decide what it is we don't know how do to next. Call her!

Jennifer (of Nifelle) did an excellent job of creating a very professional office for me. Jennifer has broad knowledge of what is available and where, and the furniture, though expensive, looks very good and is high quality. Jennifer's own rates are very reasonable, and the price I paid is a function of getting great furniture, lamps, decorations, etc.

There were no window coverings on any of the bedroom windows in our new home, not so great for privacy, or for helping to encourage the kids to sleep in, so we contacted Jennifer at Nifelle Design. Within the same week, her blind installer came to measure our windows (a huge perk, he measured the sizes of all of the windows in our home so that we could order additional blinds in the future and avoid another measuring service fee). I was looking for "white" blinds. The number of choices was huge, so Jennifer loaned me the pallet of options to choose from so that I was able to see what each looked like against my painted window trim and in the natural light that came through each window. Our blinds were ordered, delivered and installed within two weeks. We are currently working with Jennifer on choosing a carpet runner for our main wooden staircase (our pooch is getting too old to make it down without major slipping and sliding) and are really looking forward to choosing some great furniture pieces for our living room.
