We could not have sold our house without the professionalism and commitment of Oscar and his crew. We had a crazy neighbor who did not make life easy for him while completing this job, but he got the job done. I am forever thankful that we got hooked up with Nest.

It turned out beautifully. The exhaust fan is great! This home was built in the 70's and if it ever had an exhaust fan it wasn't there when we bought it. Just a ceiling fan cruddy with grease. We bought another ceiling fan a few years later and that just did not work at all for getting rid of the cooking smells and crud left on walls and ceilings. This is so much better. They actually not only hooked it up they vented it to the outside and installed the exhaust connection to the outside through the roof. They were clean, fast and efficient. They showed up on time and left the place clean. A few days later the electrician came out and hooked up the exhaust fan to our existing electrical panel and installed the lights. He also showed up on time. He was fast, efficient and clean. The jobs for us that they did were done professionally and reasonably. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to our neighbors. They do more than lights and fans.

The crew did a great job. They were fast and cleaned up beautifully --something that is important to me since I have a garden. Oscar's bid was the most detailed bid that I received-- others did not give nearly as much detail as to what would be done and what each item would cost. Very professional --I strongly recommend.

He was excellent, professional in all he did, totally reliable, and enjoyable to work with. He readily answered all my questions. He was clearly motivated to do an excellent job and did not try to selll me anything. I would recommend him highly, including for tasks other than roofing. He also came highly recommended by a family member who has used him for years with similar results. His price was fair and was significantly lower than other bids I got.\

I described the issue to Oscar, and we set an appointment for him to come out and take a look. He was on-time, courteous and knowledgeable and took time to ask questions, describe the issue and discuss options. Many residential roofers won't even do flat roof and membrane work, but Oscar happily provided a bid in writing within a couple of days. He and his crew started the job when scheduled, and he communicated well as the job was being completed; he also thoroughly cleaned up after himself everyday. The finished work is excellent and fully meets my expectations.

I left a message for Nest Designs on 10/14 I believe and Oscar called me back the next day 10/15 to schedule an appointment. Our agreement was that he would come Saturday the 16th morning time and was unable to give me a time due to other things that needed to be done. I requested him to call first before coming over. Saturday came and went with no call and no show, I had thought maybe I got it wrong and he actually said Sunday and here it is after 5pm on Sunday evening with no call and no show. I find this very unproffesional and will not be using this company in the future nor would I recommend them to anyone. Perhaps another roofing company would like my money more than this one?

He was very professional. The estimate was very well done. All broken down and completely itemized. He pointed out things that I hadn’t noticed. They were very quick in gettting back to me.

We haven't used them yet. They were very nice and very thorough. They came out a couple of months ago within a couple of days of me calling them. We weren't here. They were able to come out while we were at work which worked out. They left a very thorough written estimate. We do plan to use them but we just haven't yet. They did exactly what we asked them to do and in the time frame we asked them to do it. We would consider using them in the future.

We had several worries and questions about our house's construction and Nest's owner communicated all the necessary technical information very clearly and simply for us. The estimate and subsequent work were all performed very timely. I got to see photos of the finished work and have the name of the type of materials used (listed in estimate). We feel very confident about the work and will certainly hire Nest again! Cleanup was immaculate. I had an appointment on the day of the job and the crew finished in time for me to make it to my appointment, which I thought was very thoughtful.

Oscar's crew showed up on time, cleaned up each day, did a quality job on time. I was particularly impressed with Oscar's ability to deal with a vaulted tongue-in-groove ceiling and the need for extra insulation there. I had interviewed several contractors and some were stymied by our roof. Some just said that the house was designed for cedar and we should just replace with shingles, but I wanted a fire resistant roof. Oscar handled a complex installation very well and at a reasonable price.

They did an excellent job. They were the lowest bid by half. They ended up charging us less than the estimated amount. I would recommend them and use them again. They were fast. They cleaned everything up. They did a great job. The roof looks great. They were amazing in everything they did.
