Description of Work: Had a little trouble scheduling the appointment with Neil Kelly but after a few false starts, Lonnie came to the house and did a great job. He knew what chores were needed before he came out and was well prepared to address them. He fixed a light, a toilet, a smoke detector issue and even ran to Home Depot for me in less than 2 hours. I am glad to know that Neil Kelly has this handyman service. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I purchased two hours of handyman help. howard from neil kelly called promptly and showed up when he said he would. he looked at my problem and we discussed possible remedies for about thirty minutes. we agreed it might take longer than the time I had purchased and I said I would be willing to pay his regular rate for anything beyond the remaining hour and a half. he left, saying he wanted to consult with a colleague about the problem and would get back to me. that's the last I heard.

Description of Work: I had several interior doors in my 1924 house that weren't closing properly. Howard evaluated each of the five doors and provided fixes for each of them--all just needed various adjustments and no parts. I'd previously tried to fix a few of these doors and failed/never got back to them. He knew what he was doing, was quick and efficient, and helped me better understand how the doors worked (or didn't). He did all of this work in the allotted time and was pleasant to deal with.

Description of Work: Complete kitchen tear out and redo,. Installed new cabinets,kitchen sink, marmoleum flooring , countertops, electrical outlets, I purchased new appliances and they installed them, replumbed the kitchen, installed tile floor in two bathrooms, new sinks and toilets in both baths and surround and new shower door on tub/shower enclosure. They were very tidy, cleaned up every night before they left, were punctual, and very receptive to my nosiness and questions. Neil Kelly is a tad on the expensive side, but I feel you get what you pay for. They have a 5 year warranty on their work! I have used them before and find the quality is worth the cost!!!

Description of Work: I called their handyman division, seeking help with siding and dry rotted window sills. The receptionist assured me, I'd come to the right place and that the work was guaranteed for a year. A week later, I got a postcard from them saying, a Sean would call me back. A month passed. Nothing. I called Sean and he apologized, saying my number just "slipped through the cracks." We set up an appointment for the following week. I ended up needing to change the date. I called him twice the week before, then the day before. He never got back to me. A big disappointment.
