Great job, but a 1 1/2 later tile at the hearth came loose. I have been calling him for over a year and the repair has not been done. Does not return calls. One time I actually reached him and he said he would have someone come over the following week. No show, no call.

I contacted a number of contractors for the tiling of one wall in our powder room. Neal responded immediately to my query and informed me that because the job was small enough that he could fit us in between jobs. My request was for the job to be done within the month. (other contractors could not do this). Because there was no set date as to when the job could be done, we could be flexible. Neal responded to my email questions quickly, requested information on tile that we were going to use and kept me informed as to when he could be available. Material used was a 12x24 porcelain tile on a 5x 8 wall; tile was stacked horizontally. Neal's tile setter (Dave) did an outstanding job. The workmanship was impeccable (very small grout lines), all tiles aligned (wall was not plumb), and he advised us on layout, re: what we had planned we did not end up doing as he suggested an alternative for a more aesthetic layout - beautiful. Dave was prompt, careful, professional in doing the work itself and very careful in taking care to not make a mess of the area between the powder room and tile work area. I would use both again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Very well but hired another contractor who seemed better. Neil needed to be out of town at a critical moment.

Jeff's work is outstanding. He thought of everything which others didn't do. He recommended the right tile, which others didn't do. He delivered a beautiful completed deck on time. When I realized I needed an extra channel in the deck to place an irrigation line he responded very promptly. Overall he did a really first class job at what I found to be a competitive and fair price for outstanding work. I would recommend him to anyone that needs tile work done.

We had hired Aronowitz a number of years ago to install marble tile in our entryway, so we called them back to do the kitchen and fireplace tile. They are extremely professional, and do careful, high-quality work. They also have good design ideas for the best way to put in the tile. The work was done 2 years ago, and we haven't had any problems with their work.

Neal was very straightforward and easy to work with. It was a relatively small job and I wanted it done on a time and materials basis. I was clear on that up front. Neal respected that and did not waste my time, unlike other contractors who came to look at the job and then tried to "bait and switch" by saying they'd rather do a bid. Neal sent one of his workers (Max) to do the job. He communicated well, was accommodating to the presence of dog and toddlers in the house, kept the work site clean, made recommendations that made the final product better, and did quality work. He also got the job done quickly and under the budget I had allotted.

The tile work turned out great. Each bath, the kitchen and the master bath is now a 10+++.
