+ -1 moreI was sbconractor for Moder Flooring Services. I alway did my job the best i could, customer loved the worked i performed but MFS wasn't honest with me, they took all my money and refuse to pay me for work i performed. Now i have to file law suit against them and i would not recommend this MFS to anyone and all subcontractors watch out they will take you money just like they took mine or they probably already did. If you want to install your flooring buy at lumber liquidator or Macadam or other store and get your own contractor to install your floor it will be much cheaper and less headaches. Trust me i worked with them i know how they are. They in oregon and Washington state as well. Just keep your eye out. Thanks

+ -1 moreThis company did the kitchen and downstairs floor in my parents home, who are in their late 70s, just about a year ago. We began selling their home a few months ago, with what should look like new floors, but in the kitchen their install totally failed and looks TERRIBLE. Why? Their installer hammered-in 7 rows of flooring that meet the doorway, because he needed more room to put in the transition strip. Why does that matter? It caused every board across 6ft x 12ft of flooring to buckle. Now, all the edges are slowly breaking. IT LOOKS TERRIBLE!! They refuse to honor their work. They suggested maybe it was a bad batch of boards and offered a discount on new work, but the downstairs looks fine... It was not the boards. ALSO, they did NOT do the work themselves. THEY SUB-CONTRACTED it to an amateur, who obviously did not know what hammering-in would do... Good priced product, but DO NOT TRUST their installation quality or honor.
Description of Work: Installation of approx. 1250 sq. ft of new flooring in entire downstairs of house, plus upstairs kitchen.

Description of Work: I purchased a home and the closing date and move in date were very close together. I really wanted the floors cleaned up before I moved in. Everyone I called had a 6 week waiting period. John called me back quickly and said he could squeeze me in. And boy did they! Eric came over on Easter Sunday, no less, and it was finished by my moving day the following Wed. They did a great job! The floors look beautiful. I am so thankful. Thank you John and Erik for making my new home shine a little brighter.
