house cleaning
+ -1 morePurchased coupon thru Living Social for the above price on 9/6/12. Tried to call this company 4-5 times in the last 2 weeks to set up a date, however, never and answer and could not leave a msg because their "mailbox" was "full". Sent an email and have received no reply, therefore, have asked Living Social to refund my money and I will never, ever buy another for this company and will discourage my friends from doing so also. mIf a company is going to do business with the public, it is that company's responsibility to react with the public in a positive, professional and timely manner. Failure to exercise this clearly polite and good business practice must doom the company from thriving and they should quietly go out of business.

house cleaning
+ -1 moreconcluded that they took between $200 and $250 of my grocery money. The day after the event I was in the kitchen and decided to take a picture of my oldest boy and went to get my iPod. It was gone. They have taken that too. All of these things are small and flat enough to be hidden underneath their clothes which is where no one can search. I have left two messages with the company. No one has called me back. My insurance agent has left two messages with this company and he has not been called back. I am certain that the companies employees stole from my home. The company is not responding at all. I doubt I will ever see any of the stuff they stole again. I am writing this to warn people. If you purchase cleaning services from this company please don't let them out of your site.
Description of Work: I bought this through an Amazon Local deal. I have never had my house cleaned before. It is not something we usually have the money to spend on. Two female workers showed up on Friday to do the 90 min. of cleaning. The cleaning was not horrible. It wasn't as clean as I would have liked (some urine still left on one of the toilets) but it wasn't unacceptable. The problem is that the two workers stole almost $500 of stuff from us. Here is the story. Late the afternoon before I went to the ATM and took out $50 (two 20's and two 5's). This money is my allowance each month and I fold it and put it in a section of my billfold behind my grocery money. I also noticed that I had quite a bit of my grocery money left and felt good that I was doing a good job that month. Near the end of their cleaning I had decided that I wanted to give them each a $5 tip. I don't have very much discretional money but I figured they probably didn't make a lot for a living and thought it was the right thing to do. So, while they were still there I got into my billfold (my purse always sits on a chair in the dining room) and noticed that the money I got out of the ATM the day before was GONE. I glanced at my grocery money and thought some was gone but I was so upset that my focus was on what I did know for certain.The money I got out of the ATM was definitely gone and I confronted them. They said they didn't know what I was talking about. I told them of my certainty and that if they didn't give me the money back I would call the police. They denied even seeing my purse (you can easily see it from the kitchen where they were both working). I called the police. They did what they could but that really isn't much. The females completely lied and the although the police searched what they could they cannot strip search them. The police officers admitted that they believed me but that their hands were tied and all they could do was file the report . By this time my husband and boys came home and after the police and the cleaners left my 8 year old son went up to his room to check his stuff. He comes running downstairs crying and screaming "They took my money". He had a wallet with all his savings ($28.00) in it on his dresser and it was gone. I called the police officer and left him a message about he additional money. I had also calculated the general amount of money I had spent so far that month in groceries and

+ -1 moreI got a groupon for 1 and 1/2 hrs. of cleaning from 2 employees from this company so the price was far less than it would normally be. I started trying to schedule a cleaning about 2 weeks before the experation date of the groupon and could not get in touch with anyone. I left messages and never got a call back. The last time I tried to call it said their voicemail box was full. I complained to groupon and they said they would try to resolve the situation. Almost immediately I got a call from the company to schedule my cleaning. I schedule the appt. and the date and time came and nobody showed so I called and was told that the cleaners were running late and would be to my house in an hour. An hour came and went and so I called back and was told that they would get in touch with the cleaners and find out what was going on. After another hour I called back and got a message machine. I never did get a call back and called leaving a number of messages to see what happened. It took almost 2 weeks for someone to get back to me and then I got an apology and offered to have 2 people come for 3 hrs. to make things right. I was skeptical but scheduled it anyway and this time they showed up on time and did a decent job of cleaning. I would never use this company again as they wasted a lot of my time and were unreliable for scheduling.

+ -1 moreWe played phone tag for a couple of days (understandable, especially after an Angies List promotion) and were able to set up a good time. They came and cleaned and were very unintrusive. They did a great job, although the cracks and crevices weren't scrubbed out. To be fair, they probably would have needed more time and a clearer directive to do that. This was the first time I have had housekeeping service, so it is possible my expectations were too high.
Description of Work: Cleaned 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining area and living room. Vaccuumed, dusted scrubbed.
