He replaced them within two hours. He had one issue with a bolt but was able to file it down. I would hire him again.

The company was good. Very fast and friendly. They are awesome and I would love to have them come out and perform services for me again. Anything that I need work on, they always say they can take care of it.

The process took an hour to do. She had to cut out a hole in the exterior wall and caulk it during the job. 6 months later, the dog door is still working great.

They did a great job. We've had an unpleasant experience with another contractor that is not listed on Angie's List who did one bedroom and a couple of other small projects. When Janie from Mike's came out to give us an estimate, it was obvious that she was much more professional and everything from the questions she asked to the kind of how she assessed the situation as to what we wanted done, they were kind of head and shoulders above the other company. Also, I've been frustrated with the other company kind of like not showing up sometimes for a couple of weeks and it was obvious that they kind of wanted to focus on working around our schedule but getting things done as quickly as they needed to stay. That was how we kind of decided to go with them. The first company that I wasn't satisfied with told me that they could do all kinds of things which I found that they weren't really prepared to do. I believe they wanted to do them but they weren't necessarily the right kind of company even to provide those services. I felt like Mike Handyman Service could do a lot of different things but they also didn't tell me that they could do stuff. I felt they are really very well qualified to do it.

He said that everything needed to be replaced, but when another plumber came he told me he did not put in new faucet or line. They didn't put in anyting new and it was still leaking. Roto rooter had to send a new plumber after he came out.

He was informative and also made suggestions, such as putting a light in my attic while he was installing the ladder. He explained to us how to use it properly. Mike did a good job and his work was fine. He used good materials for framing.

We have used ‘Mikes Handyman Service’ on at least 5 occasions. From repainting the master bedroom to installing new windows. I would recommend these folks to anyone WITHOUT RESERVATION. In this one case, one of the windows in our master bedroom jumped its track and the mechanism inside the window frame was broken. I called them on a Monday morning and Janie was here on Wednesday. She took apart the window and determined what had been broken. (It was in inner spring that assisted the window to move up and down) she gave me an estimate of the costs and the time needed for the repairs. After I agreed to the work, she ordered the needed parts. When the parts came in, she called and we set up a time to do the work. She arrived on time and fixed the broken window. (The only error on her part was that she over estimated the time it would take to replace the broken part. She had estimated the better part of 2 hours and it only took about an hour.) At other time I have called her for help and when it was outside their area of expertise (IE: Repairing broken springs on the garage door opener) she recommended a local company that would do the work and even offered to call them to get extra quick response from them. I would recommend these folks to anyone here and have recommended them to friends and relatives in this area. I recommend them to anyone here… WITHOUT RESERVATION.

Mike Handyman Service Company did an excellent job. I didn’t have any complaints. They came back after it was finished to make sure that everything was touched up. So, they followed through on their work. We had also hired them for a plumbing job in the past. They came out to replace a leaking faucet in our bathroom. It went very well and they did a real fine job on that too. Their price was less than what I had anticipated, for both the jobs. The painting job was punctuated with bad weather and they couldn’t work for a couple of days. They came back after the weather cleared and finished the job in a timely manner. The quality of work they did was excellent, also in terms of cleaning up. They did a great job on that, there was no paint specs on the grass. I and my wife are very pleased with their work. I would use them in the future.

Overall, the experience went well. He did a wonderful job and it was neatly done. We would use him again.

After various attempts to have a handyman call back, I called Mike and he answered right away. We scheduled for the next day. I showed him what I needed repaired and he set to work. He showed me a few shortcuts and gave me advice. He is a nice enough fellow and did a good job. He left some jobs because he wanted me to save money by getting the parts on my time rather than charging me time to buy or get them himself.

I scheduled an appt. for Mike to come and give me an estimate on replacing a couple of boards and painting a front porch. I had to cancel due to an unforeseen work related issue. Mike was very pleasant both times I talked to him. Suggested ways of saving me money and was very understanding when I had to cancel. He had even suggested that he could do a small job for me, I could see if I liked his work and then consider him for other jobs. As it turned out, I was in the process of getting several jobs bid on and my budget didn't allow for me to complete all of them. Mike would be the first person I call the next time I have a handyman job to do.
