Description of Work: I removed my front door lockset and deadbolt and installed a new lockset but wasn't able to make it lock. As it was nearing 4 PM, I decided to call a locksmith so I would be sure to be able to lock my door that night. Mike was able to come within 30 minutes and not only showed me the problem with the lockset and fixed it, he also installed the deadbolt. Then he apologized for having to charge his minimum fee! I didn't mind paying it - he was so kind in explaining how I had misunderstood the instructions and didn't make me feel stupid at all. I will definitely call him again if I need locksmith services and would recommend him to anyone.

Description of Work: My front door thumb lever was not working. Mike came out, looked, and told me that the inside of the lock was broken. He said it was a Baldwin lock and to call, send pictures, and that baldwin would probably send me new insides. Baldwin did, at no cost to me. They guarantee their products and stand by them. About a week later the Baldwin pieces arrived and Mike came out the same day, repaired the

+ -1 moreWhen I first called him, Mike freely provided much useful information and ample choices and quoted almost exactly the same price as a competitor. He did not pressure me to make an appointment right then and there nor did he try to sell me services not related to what I asked about. We were expecting him from about 9 to 9:30, but about 9:25 he called and said he was running kind of late. He did not specifically apologize but did explain in enough detail how the circumstances were beyond his direct/immediate control. He arrived before 10. He was very personable, explained things very well, seemed to know exactly what he was doing and seemed to try to be as helpful and as considerate as possible. So far the work he did seems perfect.
Description of Work: He took about an hour, like he had predicted, to install 3 deadbolts that he provided, including drilling the holes, and to change 3 locks.

+ -1 moreBECAUSE THE KEYS WERE NON-DUPLICATE THEY REQUIRED ME TO SIGN UP AND GIVE IDENTIFICATION. WHEN I WENT BACK THEY CHECKED MY ID. THEY ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE OF OREGON LAW AND HAVE INDUSTRY CERTIFICATIONS AND STAFF GO THROUGH MULTIPLE ADVANCED EDUCATION.
Description of Work: THE LOCKSMITH RE-KEYED SOME SPECIALIZED KEYS THAT REQUIRE A LOCKSMITH. THEY HANDLE RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL LOCKSMITH REQUIREMENTS.
