The customer service at McGee is great. I bought my first set of awnings from them 30 years ago. They have been replaced twice. When it is time to replace them, McGee pulls my records make recommendations based on my past preferences. They are professional and knowledgeable. Word is done on time and the awnings are beautiful.

McGee Blinds guided us through the process of selecting a blind for a large sliding glass door. They provided many choices of styles and colors for us to select a blind. After we determined that we wanted a vertical louver-style blind, they came to our home and measured the glass door and finalized the details regarding our installation preferences. They made the blind within a week and installed it in a single day. The blind fits perfectly and operates exactly as expected. It is a very good quality and performs as we desired. Their knowledge helped us get what we wanted and their craftsmanship provided an excellent installation. We will use them again for any future blind installations.

This year when we ordered new awnings, we chose a new color and new material. After they were installed we noticed that when it rained, the material stretched and sagged so that several gallons of rain water collected in the awnings. We phoned McGee. They came out the next day and immediately agreed to take care of the problem. We discussed several options, including contacting the material supplier. I took about two weeks to get better material, remake the awnings, erect them with redesigned support to prevent sagging - all at no extra cost to us. The new awnings are great. They are wonderful people.

It went great. They were always professional and they did excellent work. They have done work for me in the past.

Called for quote on phone and specified night and day blinds. Called three places, McGee gave me the best rates over the phone($20 per blind). Invoice was for $35 per duet and $22 for non-duet. Not a nice surprise. When I called, I was told I got a good deal as the duets were the same as cleaning 2. However, I expected to pay $20 ea for cleaning 11 ($220), $20 ea for cleaning 1 ($20), $35 ea for repairing 3 ($105) and a $70 pick up delivery fee for a total of $415. I was invoiced $35 ea for cleaning 11 ($385), $22 ea for cleaning 1, $10 ea for repairing 2, even tho they repaired 3 ($20) and $70 pick up and delivery fee for a total of $497. As you can see the only thing that matched the phone quote was the pickup/delivery fee. The people were nice, called me proactively on one blind which had a high risk in being cleaned and returned all calls promptly. But, while they were not adversarial they did not respond in a customer friendly manner to may concern about the invoice amount.
