The work went very well. Byron's crew are knowledgeable, efficient and polite. They worked quickly and quietly, especially when they were working in our crawl space. Byron checked back regularly to see that I was satisfied with the work.

We had been having some water in our crawlspace over the years along with some downspout and drainage issues. Called Byron and discussed our situation. He came out soon after to assess what was going on. He established we needed to first fix the downspout/drainage pipe to ensure that the water in the crawl was not a result of that. Byron did not try to oversell us on services, in fact, he told us not to bother doing the crawlspace right now and to wait and see if the current fix would solve our issue, but if it didn't, he'd come back and fix the crawlspace for us. I really appreciated him being honest and not overselling. He was a pleasure to work with. The exterior drainage work was done. The crew and Byron showed up on repair day on time and went right to work. All the crew were very nice, hardworking and conscientious. They kept damage to my landscape to a minimum and cleaned up well after the work was done. I can barely tell they were even there! You can trust these guys! We will definitely hire Byron and his crew again for any drainage repair issues.

Byron was great to work with. He took care to review my property as a whole and formulated a plan to address a water intrusion without leaping to the most expensive and drastic option as others had done. A year out and the spot is holding out. He will also say if something is not in his area of expertise. He offered some feedback on additional seismic structural reinforcements that even my seismic retrofit company didn’t suggest. I had him go ahead with it and his team did a good job. When I complained about the post smelling strongly (and it not dissipating), he had his team replace the post and it’s fine now! Byron stands behind his work!

Owner Marc Kinyon is a good guy. He is a very honest and very likable. He even suggested ways to save us money. He knows how to treat people. They do excellent work at a very fair price. His team did a beautiful job replacing crumbling mortar removing moss and waterproofing our chimney. They do clean quality work. I highly recommend this company. Great! Let’s face it, the chimney care and repair industry is replete with vagabonds and crooks. Mike gave us a good bid based on a reasonable approach to the job (ladders not a full expensive scaffolding setup). His crew showed up right on time and completed the job quickly all as promised.

We have a 1927 SE Portland home with litsnof hollow spots in our interior foundation walls, and some concerning cracks on the exterior, particularly along one wall. I asked Byron for a consultation about our situation, and he spent nearly an hour with us, checking out the entirety of the foundation, and giving a detailed assessment, identifying areas of legitimate concern, and offering us advice on how to prioritize our repairs. I was impressed with the fact that he was not upselling us on a bigger job, and actually put our minds at ease on a few areas of concern—telling us that certain small cracks and hollow areas were really minor issues, and they should be monitored, but that there was no cause for serious alarm, nor a need for very expensive repairs. After we decided to hire Masonry Waterproofing and Drainage Masters, things happened very quickly, and Byron’s team knocked out the job in one day. They left the work areas clean and the job looks great. Byron checked in a few days after the work was done, and also made sure to remind me to contact him if any issues with the work appear.

Fantastic. We couldn't speak highly enough of our experience with Byron. This was repair addendum work and the buyers were really nervous it would be done right. Byron was so knowledgeable and able to clearly communicate the issues mentioned in the addendum and exactly how he would address each one. He was willing to talk with the buyers, and he guaranteed us his work would pass the final inspection. AND Byron's cost was less than three other contractor bids we got, and only Byron could get the work done in the right time frame. I highly recommend Byron and Masonry Masters!!! He provided for our house sale to happen in time.

The work went well. Very professional and punctual. Nice people to work with. It is summer now so we won't be able to test the results until our rainy season hits. But we are hopeful.

He was going to take it down because anything else would just be a band-aid. I wont be using him for this project but I may use him for foundation repair and such.

The crew managed to fit the two day job into a break in the weather--frozen ground not with standing. They also expanded the foundation patch to ensure there were no other points of entry for the water to seep in. Did all the work in 2 days and left a cleaned up space.

Byron was amazing. He spent a long time talking with me explaining what he saw as the problem and how he would go about fixing it.He noticed clues that none of the other companies saw. Given that we were looking at the possibility of three separate problems all converging at once to create one gigantic mess, the explanation was not an easy or quick one. After I spoke with several other companies who all offered wildly different solutions and shot down each other's ideas, I called Byron back and asked him about the concerns raised about his proposal. He spent time thinking through what they saw as the problems and the other possible solutions suggested. In the end, Byron thought one company offered a better deal and guarantee than what he could offer and therefore recommended that I go with that company. In all, Byron was generous with his time, honest, and thoughtful. I really could not have asked for anything more.

We had a problem with seepage in our basement due to an old CMU block foundation, downspouts too close to our foundation and window wells that had not been dug deep enough. I called a couple of companies for estimates. I ultimately hired Mike Keller and his team because of his thorough estimate and willingness to stop by every time I had a question with the estimated project prior to beginning. The company was diligent in hand-digging out three sides of my foundation (front porch couldn't be disturbed), cementing over the deteriorated CMU block and mortar joints, waterproofing the exterior with a sealant and vapor barrier, thereby eliminating seepage issues. The workers were polite and respectful and answered any questions I had. They also took care to dig window wells deeper and install pop-up emitters and redirect our downspouts away from the house. The company provides a 20 year warranty on their work as well. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to others! Their bid was fair and Mike was honest about the minimum work needed to waterproof our finished basement. Thank you to his team!

These guys are on their game. I made one call, they were here the next day to ***** the issue and back two days later to solve it. I havent had an issue since.. Thanks guys

Took about a week for response and quote, schedule appointment and everything went well with crew. Very friendly and clean. However, the epoxy they applied has failed. It started to detach from basement walls and moisture is apparently entering because the new steps shows water damage after 5 weeks and winter rains. Tried emailing and calling Mike on cell phone about a solution...its been a week and a half and NO response. 1200 for materials that are failing!

Mike's crew came out a couple of weeks later, they were quiet and efficient and ready to answer questions when asked. I inspected their work a couple of times as they were doing it and they did everything we talked about. At one point, two of my neighbors came out and started yelling at them about the pop up emitter. The neighbor downhill was worried that it would result in water flowing to his yard. His crew surveyed the situation and realized that they could extend the pipe a few feet to the old street drain which they did, which required them to repair it as it had been crushed by a large truck. This they did without charging extra. In regards to the waterproofing, they tested it and they decided to apply a special seal to all the cold joints. Normally this cost about $150 more and they did it for free. All in all I was very pleased at the time, but without a big rain I was reluctant to post a review. Well just last weekend we had a huge winter storm, streets were flooded, rain came down in rivers, trees fell and power was out. However, my subgrade garage stayed dry as it has ever since they came and did their work in June of this year. I am very pleased with the outcome.

They were very responsive. We found some additional areas that needed attention, that we hadn't noticed when the estimate was provided, but they were very fair on making the adjustments on what originally needed to be done. Their crew was very good to work with. I was there most of the time doing other projects, and they were very professional and easy to work with.

We had an area where water was collecting and seeping into the basement wall. The driveway slope was wrong and they put a french drain in my driveway. They knocked out a 12 inch channel from my garage, appx 30 feet and installed a french drain. They dug out the outside wall of the basement and repaired and waterproofed the area. Also repaired interior wall where the concrete had disintegrated from the water. They also did counter flashing on the chimney. They were super responsive to our needs, very easy and professional to work with. I can't think of anything they could have done better.
