Paul did exceotional job replacing front door and storm door. Picked up everything needed and removed old doors.

Paul installed a new set of double French doors in dining room and an exterior 1/2 glass door into laundry room.. The doors, from Cascade Doors, were first class. The bid was very reasonable. The old doors were removed, and disposed of. The work was done in a very timely manner. The new doors are beautiful, we couldn't be happier! Paul was very accommodating with details, such as our choice of hardware. Nice job of cleaning up also, I will certainly use them for any future projects, and would highly recommend them to others. I was very pleased with the outcome of our project to add a pocket door. Paul Marteeny approached it as I had hoped: doing his best not to destroy anything unnecessarily, re-using existing trim if it could go back in, and purchasing/installing all needed pieces. He treated the wall as if it was load bearing, even though it wasn't (better to be sure). Even though our house is not "true," Paul managed to make the adjustments needed for the frame. He provided me with good guidance to open up one side of the wall myself, allowing quick installation of the initial "slab." He gave me a brakedown of his proposal. This allowed us to agree to an amended proposal when it was clear some of the work would be different. This was a clear indicator for me that I would enjoy working with Paul Marteeny. As with all things, there were some concerns: not getting my own copy of the agreement, difficulty in getting responses through email. It was finished, though, and we are enjoying the new door!

Overall we were happy with Paul's work. The only thing we were disappointed with was the quality of his door and painting sub-contractors. There were several issues with the quality of the paint job and frame construction that should have been addressed by them. In regards to Paul's install work, we appreciated his attention to detail and workmanship.
