Great, Mark helped me over the phone. He let me know I would need a replacement part and could remove it to find what specific one it was.

After getting a higher than usual water bill I searched and found a leak at the water main valve outside the foundation of my house. After finding Mark on Angie's list to fix an emergency leak back in September of last year I wrote a review then and said that I had found my plumber for life. I called Mark for this new issue and found out he was very busy and couldn't get to me for awhile but he did tell me to look for a few things and to dig around the leak and take a picture and email it to him. I got down to the leak and realized it was a gusher and sent the pictures to Mark and followed up with a call to him. Mark had just gotten home from working all day and since I couldn't turn the water back on Mark looked at the pictures and said he would come right over. Mark has a heart of gold to take the time in the evening to come to my house and fix the problem on the same day I called him. I was extremely pleased with the price he charged to fix the leak considering it was an emergency. Mark is the best and I would recommend him to everyone looking for help. Please people this guy is good and fair and cares about doing a good job for his customers so if you need help call Mark.

I just wrote a review for the HVAC provider that found a water leak under my house and now was in need of finding a plumber on short notice on that Friday afternoon. I searched Angie's list and started calling around on Friday morning / afternoon to see when someone could come out to fix my leak problem. I was going on vacation the following week and waiting was not going to make me feel good about leaving home with a potential disaster waiting to happen under my house. I came across Mark Wilson and when he answered the phone and told me he could come out on Saturday morning I was in total disbelief due to the fact that nobody else could come until late in the week. Mark showed up and looked at the problem and told me exactly what he was going to do to fix the problem. True to his word Mark did an excellent job. I would not have found Mark without Angie's list and now I have a plumber for life. I will tell everyone I know to call Mark if they need an honest plumber. Super nice guy and a craftsman to boot. Thanks Mark!

Mark was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He showed me what he was doing each step of the way. He gave me suggestions for other things such as tub replacement - he suggested refinishing instead of replacing. He was here about 5 hours and as the cost of parts and toilet disposal was about $375, I paid about $245 or $50 per hour for labor. This included a slight discount because I am going to have him return to install the remaining toilet. His pricing is much much better than another firm I used who charged me based on a price list for each separate task. I am going to have Mark return and do some additional work and I highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Replaced a toilet, removed a toilet (I'm going to have him return and install a new one after the flooring in that room is replaced), replaced an outdoor faucet and disposed of the old toilets and other materials.

We sent Mark and a few other plumbers an email via Angie's List looking for someone who could install a gas line for a new gas fireplace. A couple of the plumbers replied via email and referred us to different contractors (Heating contractors) but Mark gave us call. Mark also told us he did not do the work we were looking for. But what Mark and the others did not know was that we were in need of some "minor" plumbing repairs that we planned on discussing with whomever came out to give us an estimate on the other work. Since Mark took the time to follow up with us promptly and in person, I asked him to come out and take a look at the water shut off valves for several of our fixtures. We had just purchased a home (built in 1977) and had "closed" on a Wednesday. I emailed Mark Thursday night. He returned my call on Friday morning and agreed to come out the very next day - a Saturday - because we were planning on moving in on Sunday. Mark arrived on time and got right to work. I had told him our pre-inspection had found a few of the shut off valves needed replaced. I told Mark to make his own assessment, which he did. Mark identified the same issues discovered during our inspection - and more! Mark thoroughly explained his recommended repairs, provided us with options for how to proceed and explained the possibility he might find further problems after starting his work. Mark explained that some of these repairs, depending upon serverity, might result in cutting holes in the back of cabinets. I told Mark to begin the repairs and to completely fix any problems he found - I didn't want "band aid" repairs - and I think Mark appreciated having the approval, as needed, to replace the original (and corroded) galvinized pipe nipples between the copper piping and the shut off valves. Mark got busy as we had no less than nine different sets of shut-off valves to assess and repair if needed. Mark did a great job! He reapired the stops and nipples that needed replaced but left functioning shut-off valves in place. A couple of the repairs required a bit more work - removing the stops, nipples and even some of the fittings in the wall. Along the way, Mark kept an eye out for other items of concern. If there was an immediate need to correct a problem, I told Mark to make the repair. After spending serveral hours of a beautiful Spring day under sinks and behind toilets, Mark explained to us the repairs that he made and gave us some suggestions for items that would likely need some attention in the future. His fees were EXTREMELY reasonable given the short notice and the Saturday work. We plan on having Mark back to install a garbage disposal, replace a failed pressure reducing valve at the water supply line, replace a cracked, but still functioning, sink trap and install a new dishwasher. We really appreciate working with an owner/operator like Mark as there is no confusion or miscommunication between the person bidding the work and the person doing the work - because Mark does his own work! So happy that when we searched for plumbers on Angie's List we filtered the responses by those closest to us. Not only did we find a great plumber - thanks in part to other Angie's List reviews - but we found a great plumber who lives close by, which could be invaluable in certain instances! As it stands, Mark is going to be our "go to" guy for all our plumbing needs!

We have used Mark as our plumber before. He installed a shower for us. He is on time (or calls ahead); he is pleasant to have around; he knows his work.

Mark was very professional and found the problems quickly and fixed the problems the same day. Even though his original quote was $800, he only charged us $700. Even though he had to go get a part, he was able to finish all the rapairs in half a day. He was also very helpful in answering some of my questions regarding general plumbing and ceiling repairs. I would definitely call him again if we ever have plumming issues.
Description of Work: Two different leaks from upstairs master bathroom into the downstairs living room was fixed. Another slow draining sink was fixed.

We were very happy with the work Mark did. After deciding to refinish the tub, it was necessary to repair the drain prior to having the done. Mark was very accommodating with getting his work done on short notice so the project to continue on schedule. Good job. The only reason I gave him a "B" for price was sticker shock. I normally do these kind of things myself, but got lazy and wanted someone else to go into the crawl space. So I had no idea what it costs to have a professional come do the work.
Description of Work: We had planned on having Mark remove an old tub and shower surround. After talking to Mark and discovering some space limitation, we decided to refinish the tub and tiles. We decided to have him replace the drain and do some cosmetic updates to the shower hardware. He got the unenviable job of going into the crawl place to complete the job. As with all remodels, he found some issues that needed to be address and took care of them all with out any problems. He had a well stocked truck with all the tools and parts he needed.
