Maid for Portland

The women were very prompt and were ready to go. They went to work quickly. The cleaning that was completed was surface level. I had expected a bit more care around baseboards, on the counters and the faces of the cupboards. I believed that they would clean the inside of the windows and the window tracks but they said they did not do those when they got there. I may have not asked the correct questions, but ended up doing a good amount of re-cleaning to get the house ready for sale.

They did a great job cleaning up, especially the fridge and floors.

They showed up and and they young lady claimed to not have felt well and left and didn't come back to do the work. So we just cancelled the whole thing. She had a supervisor and so she came all the way to my house then called her supervisor and told me that she had to leave because of her illness so felling unwell so she took off and I didn't reschedule.

I booked it through email. $200 to $300 for 8 hours of cleaning. 2 People for four hours. I thought they were great and I personally reviewed them on Yelp because they were so great. They were reliable, they followed through, they were professional and they got the job done.

Very friendly and flexible schedule. Unfortunately quality was just ok. There was multiple times when not all bedrooms were cleaned.

Communication was just difficult. You know, when you have to do phone tag or someone doesn't turn up when they are supposed to it kinda puts me out of my day. And it happened a few times. The cleaning was good, but it wasn't really like great. And I guess I was willing to pay the money if it was like a really great clean. Often, I guess it depended on who turned up, how good the clean was. But, it was like every time they left there was something that got missed and it was just annoying. Like, they said they would come back and redo it for free and all that, but you know that's just more like communication problems for me. I don't really have time for someone to come back or to redo it. It was kind of OK, but not really worth the money for me in the end.

One of the only companies to answer my phone call, then great communication before the service and the workers that cleaned communicated everything clearly as well. Place was very clean, will use again.

The techs showed up on time and were courteous and detailed. They worked efficiently and accomplished what was requested. I was also very appreciative with Robin's responsiveness to call me back and follow up on getting the scheduled services completed without problem. We will definitely hire Maid for Portland again. They scheduled with me within one day, came when they said they would and did a great job cleaning. I would use them again.

Terrible

Always punctual and friendly, they bring there own cleaning supplies, but I ask them to use my vacuum which is no problem for them. They are friendly, but stay on task and get everything done and sometimes have time for more.

The cleaning team arrived on time and got to work right away after a quick tour of the house. They were friendly, efficient and accommodating to my needs, plus the house smelled great. All my counters and cabinets were wiped and free of finger prints. They even shined up the stainless steele applicances, plus wiped down all my wooden blinds. I couldn't be happier.

Within an hour three cleaners cleaned counters, including appliances, floors, sinks in the kitchen and two bathrooms and a shower. We were very pleased with their cheerful demeanor and especially with the quality of their work, and will ask for them again. My wife will need not only a clean house when she comes home from the hospital but a completely disinfected one, and Nikki and I discussed what cleaning products that would entail.

They did a good job. Good communication and showed up when they said they would - I was happy with the work.

Super easy scheduling (one quick phone call), then they showed up on time, were very professional, and did a great job with the cleaning. The place is spotless. Really liked the fact that they communicated progress via text messages and had an option to pay via electronic invoice. I really appreciate companies who are tech-savvy since it saves me time and hassle.

This was a big deal purchase. It worked out pretty well. I don't know the going rate for a cleaning, but obviously the cleaning could have been a little more thorough for the money. The quality of the service was pretty good and they were here right on time.

This company did an amazing Job! they were personable,professional, and easy to communicate with. They are a fairly new company and they did a phenomenal job. They were so knowledgable about move out cleanings and the check lists that go along with it, and how important it is to get ALL of your deposit back. I did get all of mine back because he apt was immaculate! Thanks Guys!

We've routinely used MFP for one year now and they never fail to do a stellar job. They are timely, proffessional, and flexible!! We are very happy with the services MFP provides. We've had fantastic communication when special circumstances arise and they are always willing to provide solutions and go the extra mile when needed. The guests we have frequent our home always comment on how clean the house looks. I think their prices are fair but anything less than fair wouldn't be fair so I gave them an A on that front too. Bottom line is use MFP. You won't regret it.

They were a little bit late due to traffic but then three cleaners arrived and got right to work. I liked having it take less time because there were three of them. Their rate is $35/hour per cleaner. I had an Angies List coupon to get five person-hours for the price of four. The three young women worked steadily and accomplished a lot within the time available (slightly less than two hours), and they did not run over and ask for more money (as happened to me once with another service). I was particularly pleased with the way the hardwood floors came out; it was wiped by hand with microfiber cloths instead of using a mop and the floors looked great. I would use them again.

Overall they did a great job. There were a couple of problems on the first cleaning. The nook table was seriously cloudy and streaked as was the computer monitor. They didn't know what to use and left it looking pretty bad. It only took a few minutes for my wife to clean it up with the right product so it was not a big deal. They also missed some cob webs. Again, it only took me a minute to clean them up. Everything else was great! With the streaks, it would have been better if they had called me and asked me what to use as opposed to leaving it. Communication is important to me. The second cleaning was better and I look forward to the 3rd!

Moved to Portland not too long ago, and found myself a new place. Given how busy I am, I don't get to clean my house much, which is why having a maid service is so convenient. To my great fortune, I was introduced to Maid for Portland by a friend, and ever since, they're the only maid service I resort to. I've used a few different services in the past but I move around a lot. Ariel and Kaylee did a very thorough cleaning of the house. I was impressed at the attention to detail especially in places like the bathroom and kitchen which are my least favorite places to clean. They cleaned EVERYTHING- appliances, light fixture's, switch plates, the grill for the ceiling fan which are all the things I neglect to clean regularly. I do well at wiping counters after myself but have always lacked the time to do all the detail stuff like wiping the exterior of cabinets and appliances. For me having a service I trust is important, I felt very comfortable with this company and I set up a weekly cleaning schedule with them. In addition, the customer service was fantastic, and booking was very convenient. Rates are very fair considering the quality offered by this service. I would recommend and use again in the future.
