Macadam Floor And Design

This will be a lengthy assessment of my buying experience with this company. I may retired contractor 35 years out in the field dealing with customers in their homes. I've been retired now for 3 years and I wanted to get rid of the 20 plus your carpet in my condominium and put down lvp flooring. I contacted three different companies and they all came up with three different prices and three different ways of looking at this project. I was a little bit discouraged until I drove by macadam flooring company in John's Landing. I went in and talk to them and looked at his sample in arranged for a free in home estimate. The company came out measured and broke me up a quote to do all of the floors in my condominium, they said that their crew would be in and out in one day! They were the fourth company to give me a proposal and they came in with the lowest price. My wife and I checked into a motel for a couple of days well they came in on a Thursday and worked until the evening. When I came in to look at the job on Friday morning I was amazed at how perfect it looked and how different my house smelled from the lack of 20 plus year old carpet and now new floors! As far as dealing with Rick the sales person on the phone it went pretty smoothly. We had one hiccup on the way the proposal was written as far as baseboards and that sort of thing but we easily got it worked out over the phone. The other hiccup was on furniture moving. I had moved as much Furniture as I possibly could in preparation for them to start with the living room and dining room area. I had put all the knick knacks and electronics and small stuff up onto all the counters I could find and shelves that I could find off the floor. Rick and I also got this worked out successfully he was very accommodating and actually gave me a good discount at the end of it all. The crew that came in was four guys showed up at 8:30 in the morning and when I came by on Thursday evening before I went back to my motel they were still hard at it at 6:40 p.m. in the dark rain and cold. The only small issues were they forgot to plug my wife's refrigerator back in at the end of the day but there was no harm done, and just a very very light dusting of sawdust here and there in the house. This once again was almost not even worth mentioning due to the extent of the work that they performed. Communication was five stars customer satisfaction five stars price five stars the fact that they worked with me on different issues and concerns that I had was five stars also. I would highly recommend this company with the advice and this goes with any company that you deal with or anything that you purchase is that you want to make sure that the proposal is written out completely and clearly so there is no question as to what exactly will be going on throughout the duration of the job. Yes I know it's the Reader's Digest version of a long story but yet a good explanation and evaluation.

My partner and I recently worked with Macadam Floor & Design (specifically with Rick) to replace our upstairs flooring (switching from carpet to hardwood) and we were so incredibly happy with every aspect of the process. Rick was so communicative and thoughtful, and the install team did a really fantastic job with a super fast turnaround time as well! We had a fairly tight budget and our project wasn’t the easiest and included a steep stairway with old treads and Rick really helped us tremendously to stay within the budget and give us our dream flooring. The job was done in a day, including replacing our whole subfloor, and the final outcome is just so beautiful. Also, they have SO many flooring options to pick from so that is really nice as well! I can’t recommend Macadam Floor & Design (and Rick) enough! Will definitely be returning for any future flooring projects

Macadam Flooring (MF) was exactly what you would hope for in a flooring company. We contacted our realtor (who we bought our house from ten years ago), and he recommended Macadam Flooring without hesitation. And he was right! Darren at MF was attentive and responsive at all points of the process, the selections were broad and all high-quality, and the installers were absolutely fabulous in every way. I highly, highly recommend Macadam Floor and Design. It met and exceeded our every expectation. And our floors look incredible!

He was careful to advise us on the best material and greatest cost savings to meet our project budget. His team scheduled the work promptly after we placed our order and stayed in contact throughout the process. The work included demo and install. His installation crew was efficient and detailed. Our whole house got new floors from Macadam and we love the new look.

Macadam Floor and Design was great to work with. Rick and team did an amazing job and we are very happy. Our house feels like it is brand new again. I'll be honest when we walked into the showroom Rick had already picked out LVP and carpet for us. I wasn't too sure if he was just pushing the samples that would make him the biggest markup. Like I said, I'm just being honest. Regardless if that was the case, which now I don't think it was, the picks were excellent. Rick walked us through why he chose those and why he thought they would work in our house. We had no idea that he had seen pictures of our interior, because someone else had done the measuring. Rick picks could not have been more on point. We are happy that he guided us away from our original choices. Rick's choices were exactly what we needed and we are so thankful for the great work he and his team did. 100% a completely professional crew and the whole process was painless and we didn't feel like we were dealing with a used car lot (cough cough Empire). Kylie Buley helped us completely customize our brand new home. We had a lot of spaces to make decisions on which felt overwhelming at first but with her help and expertise, it was a much smoother experience. We brought in inspiration photos and she reccomended a variety of options - and typically provided a cost efficient option along with an upgrade option which was very considerate. She helped us with everything during our design center appointment including hardwood floor selections, cabinets, hardware, backsplash tile, etc. (including bathrooms and kitchen as well as all main areas) What was great too is she went above and beyond to give us tips and opinions on other areas like lighting that would tie all of our selections together which allowed us to maintain the design continuity throughout our home. If you are looking for someone who is patient, while being efficient in helping you select your design ideas - Kylie is your person! We can’t wait to see our home and have her to thank for it. Macadam helped us install LVP and carpet floors prior to moving into a new home. Other flooring stores were estimating 3-10 weeks for installation times, while Macadam was able to fit us in within a week for the portion of the job with materials available. Rick was very helpful and responsive, providing good recommendations as well as ideas for parts of the home that were not typical. Ivan and his crew did the LVP installation and did a nice job - the floors look great. Overall we had a good experience with them and appreciate how responsive and professional everyone was.

I can’t begin to say how happy I was with my experience with Macadam Floor and specifically, Scott Carden. He was amazing and went out of his way to assist throughout the entire process from counter tops, flooring and back splash. We worked with Rick to help us with our granite counter tops along with our backsplash. Thier pricing along with the workmanship was nothing short of excellent. When we first started working with Macadam, we had a basic vision for our floor and carpet replacement project. I have worked exclusively with Scott on close to 10 projects in the last few years as a local house flipper. I have always received superb service from Scott and his team. Amazingly, Scott always seems to be able to free up his schedule upon my arrival to help with any questions regarding tile/flooring recommendations and inventory. Delivery of materials always arrives on time, which I gratefully appreciate as “time is money” in this business. The showroom has a good selection of materials and I am always able to pick out all of the materials needed for my kitchen, bath and flooring renovations here. I often will pick a few top options and ultimately end up ordering the material that is first available in the interest of time. We used Macadam Floor and Design to replace hardwood floors and some carpets in an older house we recently purchased. Rick Correa listened to our reasons for replacing the existing flooring and was very helpful in identifying a LVP flooring that would work for us. He was very knowledgeable about his products and didn't 'up sell' us on flooring material. He followed up with quotes and answered our questions. Once we selected Macadam, the other Macadam staff were on the spot to help us get the installation scheduled and the install team, led by Ivan, actually contacted us prior to the scheduled installation to see if they could come a day early to start the floor demo. It ended up that they got the flooring demo'd and installed that same day and it looks beautiful!!!! Ivan and team were awesome and worked great together. I highly recommend Macadam floors and Rick Correa for any flooring needs you may have.

Macadam Floor and Design was so easy to work with from the get-go, starting with Rick who helped us pick out engineered hardwood and carpeting. He was great to work with and always returned my calls promptly when I had a question. He also kept us in the loop about every step of the way. The crews that came to lay the hardwood and the fellows who came to put in the carpeted area were top notch. Very efficient, worked well with each other and answered all my questions as they were doing their work. They were very courteous and thoughtful and precise. Caine, who managed the team that came to our home also made a visit as the flooring was going in and answered more questions that I had. This was our first experience having flooring done in our home. They get 5 stars all around as far as we're concerned.

I worked with Olivia at Macadam for my new construction home. She was so great to work with - incredibly knowledgeable and very prepared for our meeting. She provided great opinions and helped me make decisions without feeling like I was being pushed to upgrade or spend more money. The store had a lot of samples and options to help visualize your choices. I am very happy I got to work with Olivia and Macadam, I would highly recommend.

My husband and I are having a new home built, and were referred to Macadam Floor & Design to pick out materials for our desired options. Kylie was our designer, and she was wonderful! She helped us pick out complimentary colors for the entire house including: tile schemes for our mud set shower, quartz countertops for the kitchen with corresponding backsplash tile & grout colors, laminate flooring, and so much more. She was able to pull many different color scheme options & explain how each color combination would most likely appear in our home. She was able to tell us the pros and cons of different materials too. Kylie was very kind, fun yet professional, informative, and easygoing. We didn’t feel rushed nor did we feel like we were being conned into getting upgrades that we didn’t need/want. I will absolutely return here for future projects & highly recommend both Macadam Floor & Design as well as Kylie.
