It was a Friday night and it was real stormy, I got a flat tire right in front of Les Schwab and pulled in there expecting to pay to fix it since it was not Les Schwab tires, and the guy fixed it for free anyway. That convinced me that that was the kind of guy I wanted to do business with and so I bought some tires from them since then. That was before the old man died- the way of doing business has changed a lot since Les Schwab died.

Les Schwab Tire Center - Portland provided a lot of years of new brakes, new tires and alignment. They;re close and convenient. We initially started going to them when we took a vehicle in a local repair shop and we come out spending considerable more money than we intended. We took it to them and they will do the job you want without pushing anything.

They replaced my rear brakes and back tire and went ahead and fixed those and ldquo;problemsand rdquo; without contacting me. They called to tell me the price and I confronted them about not calling me first. They then called back and asked if I knew I had a problem with my master cylinder; which is the whole reason I took the car to Les Schwab in the first place. They went on and fixed my master cylinder. I felt completely ripped off. They would not show me the ripped tire. On top of that, they even stole most the change out of my ashtray. I'm fairly certain they intentionally threw my car out of alignment.

I have been going to Les Schwab for many, many years. I am very religious about my tires. I have however used them for everything from powder coating to batteries. Usually they are very good about their service, but I have had a couple of times when they have sold me the wrong thing. They are very good about fixing the problem with very few questions.

They were helpful on the phone. I called to see if I needed an appointment. They said "Nope", but explained that they weren't very busy. I went over and was seen promptly. They looked at the flat tire and explained that it ran over a nail and couldn't be repaired due to the damage. They had a used tire that fit. It was substantially less than a new one. They changed it out very quickly and disposed of the old tire.

Going there for years, great service always and very professional.

Employee inspected brake system, though referred me to Chrysler dealer for repair of sophisticated brake system. Employee thoroughly explained repair need, and I was not charged for this inspection.

THEY WERE FAST, FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. WE WERE GREETED RIGHT AWAY WITH A SMILEY PERSON (THEY SHOWED WHITE TEETH). THEY TOOK OUR KEYS, TOLD US HOW LONG THE WAIT WOULD BE AND OFFERED US SOME POP CORN.
