Description of Work: There were several smallish things. The last step on my back porch was not the right size and needed rebuilding. 3 concrete basement steps were falling apart and dangerous. A toilet valve needed adjusting. A bird and a bat house needed to be attached outside.

Description of Work: Larry has helped me with a number of things over the past few months. First, I had some water leaks that had made a spot on my wall, and he fixed that for me for a very minimal charge. Then I called him because I wanted to have a washer and dryer hookup in the basement. He helped me find out about a broken pipe and subsequently a deteriorating sewer pipe. He spend almost the whole day at my house, talking to drain people, and didn't charge me a thing for his help. The other day, after explaining that my smoke detectors weren't working even after new batteries were installed, he found that they were defective and replaced them all, plus added a CO2 detector in my furnace room. He also gave me some helpful advice about whether or not my furnace needed replacing (someone else had suggested it, but he said it still had plently of years of life).
