+ -1 moreShopped for a ceiling light for my front porch. Found 3 discount lamps plus coupons, online, that the Lamps Plus in Beaverton would honor. Talked to salesman Rick who had the fixture packed and ready to go on my arrival. I received 30 dollars in free giveaways and a 20 dollar reduction on the cost of the fixture.
Description of Work: Purchased a ceiling porch light.

+ -1 moreI WENT TO THE LAMPS PLUS SHOWROOM ON HALL BLVD. IT WAS DIFFICULT GETTING HELP EVEN THOUGH THEY DID NOT APPEAR TO BE BUSY. THE OUTDOOR LIGHTS ON DISPLAY THAT I WANTED TWO OF WERE $39.95 EACH, AND THEY SAID THEY NEEDED TO BE PICKED UP FROM THEIR "BUILDERS WAREHOUSE" WHICH WOULD NOT BE OPEN FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS. I GAVE MY NAME, AND ORDERED TWO. AFTER A COUPLE OF DAYS I CALLED TO CHECK ON THE STATUS, AND WAS TOLD THEY WERE NOT IN YET. I CHECKED BACK THE NEXT DAY, AND SPOKE WITH JOAN WHO TOLD ME THEY DID NOT HAVE THEM AVAILABLE AFTER ALL. I THEN CHECKED THEIR WEB SITE WHICH SHOWED THEY COULD BE ORDERED FOR $49.95 EACH, $10.00 MORE EACH. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND LAMPS PLUS UNLESS YOU HAVE A LOT OF TIME TO WASTE.

IT WAS SOMEWHAT DIFFICULT TO GET HELP ON THE SHOW ROOM FLOOR AND THE CASHIER AREA HAD LOTS OF PEOPLE WAITING DESPITE MANY SALESPERSONS. I DID RECEIVE HELP CARRYING THE LAMPS TO MY CAR.
Description of Work: I WAS LOOKING FOR SEVERAL MISSION STYLE LAMPS. LAMPS PLUS HAD A VERY GOOD SELECTION, AT GOOD PRICES, AND INSTOCK/ON DISPLAY.
