+ -1 moreHorrible inspector who totally missed seeing and disclosing an obviously not up to code and seriously dangerous backyard deck. Two other contractors have since looked at it and said it was totally visually OBVIOUS how it was not up to code and in fact dangerous. Within the first week, just walking across it, a board cracked and left a gaping hole and now I need to replace the whole deck. Lucky no one was injured. The inspector will not answer my phone calls or mail in order to inquire about mediating. INEXCUSABLE!

His background in construction allows him to look at the structure and make decisions based on his past experience in the building trades. His report is presented with pictures and detailed descriptions of problems found. Our last report was 40 plus pages long. If you're going to rake out some big money to purchase a home, this is exactly what you want. This is the second time we have used Key Home Inspections and will use them again without hesitation.
