The service was amazing. We gave Kent and his guys a very tight deadline and they got the work done and did it well. We are very pleased. Kent even went beyond what could be asked for and they purchased and hung Christmas lights for us, which made the celebration of our first home all the more meaningful!

Kent & his crew were prompt, tidy, and professional. Kent communicated well and shared his insight on paint colors.

We didn't use him. The price was higher than the couple that we ended up using. He was really nice. We know him from our storage unit because he rents a space at a storage unit we were at. Not having used him I really can't say too much but he was really nice. We have an old house and we got someone who did a lot of things in detail.

We met Kent while walking in the surrounding neighborhood. We'd' seen his truck and stopped to talk to him about a paint job we needed done in our 2-story entry and upstairs hallway. Kent was warm and personable and seemed interested in the job. He asked that we call him that night to arrange a time for him to visit and give an estimate.That night we called him as he asked and arranged a time for the day after the next. When the scheduled time came Kent was a no show. I called and had to leave a voice mail, asking if I had the time or day wrong. No response. 1 1/2hrs later my husband called Kent and was able to connect with him. Kent told him at 3:30 he realized he was suppose to be somewhere but didn't bother calling or anything. He just blew us off. When my husband tried to reschedule another time, Kent seemed too busy to accomodate our schedule, so my husband decided we must not be a big enough job for him and told him nevermind, that we'd find someone else. We'd had high hopes for Kent, but his lack of professionalism really turned us off.

The overall experience was satisfactory.

Kent and his crew were efficient, on task every minute and interacted well with each other. Kent planned out and gave instruction as the job progessed. Kent power washed the house on a Sunday, then he and the crew started prepping and painting on Tuesday and finshed up on Wednesday about 2:30 p.m. ******They were totally organized and prepared. A very impressive team.****** They were going to wait until Wednesday to apply the final coat and do the trim but the direct to metal primer was dry in 4 hours. So, the final coat was applied the same day with the gutters and trim completed on Wednesday. Kent and crew cleaned up the site, removing every bit of the tape and paper. They removed the covers from the shrubs and only one shrub , which is prone to brittleness, had broken stems enough to prune. I am very happy to have used Kentco Paintco to do this exterior painting. I thought the price was a bit high but their thoroughness and careful efficient work was worth it.

Kent gave us a creative bid (considering difficult economic times) which included painting the main portion of the cabinets, but not those which got little wear...thereby keeping costs down. He was always prompt and reliable and matched the previous paint on the kitchen cabinets and the darker color for the bathroom cabinets perfectly....and at the end left paint for us to do touchup with. He painted and touched up areas other than those in the original bid (baseboards, etc) and still came in below bid. He left things neat and clean and we were extremely pleased with the result. He also took the cabinet door and drawer facings to another location to spray paint them and was very considerate of our time-frame since it was the Thanksgiving holiday week and the first of the next week.
