I dropped a sample of ceiling tile to their office and received the results back within two days. Excellent service.

This lab was highly recommended by a contractor friend, and they had the added benefit of being super close to my house. The employee I dealt with was very friendly and helpful. She outlined my options and costs, and helped me understand what my next steps will be once I receive the results of my asbestos test. If I need testing again in the future, I will definitely use JSE Labs.

Called JSE Labs after not getting a response back from other asbestos company in Portland. Talked with Darin. We needed to demo a house we bought on a piece of property. In order to get the permits, we needed to make sure there was no asbestos in the home. The home was also completely filled with stuff. The previous owner was a hoarder. I explained the situation to Darin and my concerns of not being able to take samples because of the home's condition. He told me that he's never had a problem before and has been in this situation in the past. Darin came out and got the samples he needed. We had our results about a week later. Very pleased with their service.

I have used JSE twice to test for asbestos. Once when I was in inspection process of purchasing a property and then again after buying it to test more materials in the building. Both times, they were extremely nice, explained everything and walked me through options of testing services they offer. Both times they delivered results via email well before the deadlines agreed too. They pride themselves on being quick! Love them and great know what has asbestos or what does not. That reminds me, their results form is very easy to read and understand what is being referred to. They break materials into multiple layers and analyze each of them for asbestos. For example, the glue, the center of material, and the top coating. Each with own results! Great company!

I took the sample of the suspected asbestos ceiling over to their lab. I left it in the convenient drop box as they were closed. Two days later I had the results. Not what I wanted to hear (the sprayed on ceiling was 10% asbestos) but now I can react on the basis of knowledge.

I called up JSE to see about testing several layers of sheet vinyl flooring in my 1940s house in which I am remodeling the kitchen. Tracy was extremely friend and helpful on the phone and explained to me how to obtain my own sample. I removed the sample and dropped it at JSE's box early in the morning (you can drop outside of business hours. very convenient), along with the chain of custody form. I paid for the next day samples, but I had a nice report emailed to me that same day. Overall, top notch service. This is how a business should be run. If I have any other future Asbestos testing needs in the future, I'll be sure to come back to JSE and won't hesitate to recommend them to friends. Thanks!

JSE Labs was great to work with at every step of the process. They charge approximately $150 for an asbestos inspector to come to the property, and $45 per sample to be processed. Setting up an appointment was easy, and after speaking with them on the phone, we determined that it would be worth our while to have the inspector come out, rather than deliver the samples ourselves. It turned out to be a good idea. Darin arrived right on time, and was able to identify several items we had concerns about as asbestos-free without needing a test. He also was also able to point out several other areas of concern that would not have occurred to us. Test results arrived right on schedule several days later, and JSE was able to email them in PDF form so we could have than quickly.

He had to come out and take samples and then taken back to the lab and then they emailed me the report, which I had to submit to the floor guys before they could do the floor. They came out on time and explained everything. They are professional.

I went to their office and dropped off samples of our old kitchen flooring for asbestos testing. Within the time promised I had back my results. No problems.

Dropped off my popcorn ceiling sample to be tested for asbestos, a few days later I received a call with my results. Jones Environmental Lab is quick, inexpensive and easy.

I mailed in my sample on Saturday and they called me Monday morning to get my credit card number, which is what I requested. The lab prices its services according to how fast you need the result. I indicated in the letter I sent with my sample that I wanted the slowest level of service, 3 to 5 days. But in fact, since business was unusually slow, they performed my test the morning they received the sample and called and emailed with the result that day. I still paid the 3-to-5-day service price.

It was a very quick transaction. We did not have any troubles with them.

Very good. Jones tested some old linoleum flooring as well as some of the heating system for asbestos content. Found there was asbestos and advised us as to how to get rid of it.

They were super. Unlike other asbestos testing labs we contacted, JSE Labs includes testing and a formal report on 4 layers per sample (e.g., in a sample of laminate flooring we sent, 3 layers comprised the linoleum, paper backing, and glue). Other vendors we contacted charge per individual layer, which would've added up quickly. We paid only $40 per sample and had a 5-day turnaround. JSE Lab charged more than other vendors for on-site sample removal services, and therefore suggested that we cut out the samples and mail them in (which we did without any problems).

Quick and thorough analysis. Prices competetive. Good communication for a layperson.
