JOHN MICHAEL JINDRICH

It went badly. John Michael said he's be the one to do the work. He ended up sending out a twenty year old and an eighteen year old to do the job. Michael was only there at the beginning and never check back to see how they were doing. They left goop all over my windows, and the only way to get rid of this stuff is to have a special cleaner which I don't have. They also damaged the screens on the brand new windows. On top of all of that, they did not properly caulk the windows. It took me two years to track Michal and his company down, but I found them. I called him once and he returned my call. He said that he remembered me and this job and that he'd come out and clean up the goop and take care of the caulking. Now he is not returning my calls, nor has he come and cleaned up the mess his installers left.

I found this contractor through LBL recommendation. He did come out and give a bid fairly quick. My problem was he didn't educate me very well on what he was selling. We ended up with large bedroom window that was different than what we had visualized. The bedroom window also had a crack on the frame, but didn't effect the performance. He told us not to worry about it. Michael had told us that he used insulation all the way around the windows and caulked inside & out. I have since had all the molding off the windows and found some or no insulation between the window & wood stud. Also he used several different types of caulk and in many places it wasn't sealed. Since the work has been done I have removed, cleaned, install within the frame of the house (several were mounted on the outside of the studs & siding), insulated and caulked inside and out. The good thing about this job is it was done in November and I didn't have time. I just expected a better job. Next job I'll do myself.

He is reliable and does a good job. He can do many things having to do with wood.
